This Morning host Amanda Holden surprised she has managed not to swear on live TV "I seem to have found a filter - which is a first for Mandy!" she told Mirror TV at launch of new Dark Arts section of the Harry Potter studio tour

This Morning star Amanda Holden has admitted she's stunned she has managed NOT to swear on live TV.

The daytime co-host is covering part of Holly Willoughby's maternity leave on the ITV show and joked she's pleasantly surprised she's been able to keep her language clean on air - but co-presenter Phillip Schofield doesn't make it easy for her to remain professional.

She exclusively told Mirror TV: "You have to be really careful with live television.

"I've got these lovely girls and boys on Twitter, they're called Holdenites, and as a present they gave me a swear jar.

"There's no money in it at the moment 'cos I'm doing really well.

"I seem to have found a filter - which is a first for Mandy!"

On the subject of Phillip, 52, Amanda revealed how the silver fox's wicked sense of humour leaves her struggling to suppress her laughter.

In fact, on Tuesday's show Amanda descended into giggles after Phillip made a cheeky joke during an interview with 63-year-old Edward Smith, who claims he has had *** with over 700 cars.

She said: "Phillip said to that man, 'Have you ever been rear-ended?' and I lost it. Phillip is such a funny man and I think people don't realise that."

The mechaphile's tale is just one example of the unusual stories Amanda and Phillip encounter on a daily basis on This Morning, but the Britain's Got Talent judge says she feels hugely compassionate for some of the kooky characters she interviews....
