American teen actress Madison Davenport is known for her roles on the films “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl” (2008), “The Possession” (2012) and “Noah” (2014) and the television shows “Shameless” (2011-2012), “Save Me” (2013) and “From Dusk Till Dawn” (2014). Her voice is recognized as Quillo in “Over the Hedge” (2006).

Madison Davenport was born Madison Danielle Davenport on November 22, 1996, in San Antonio, Texas. Her younger brother, Gage Davenport, is also into acting.

Kit Kittredge: An American Girl


Madison Davenport kicked off her career with a small role on the 2005 film “Conversations with Other Women.” She quickly followed it up with guest appearances on the television series “Numb3rs” (playing Julia Rausch), “Close to Home” (playing Katie), “CSI: NY” (playing Abby Drake) and “Hot Properties” (playing Hannah) (all 2005).

In 2006, Davenport provided the voice of Quillo, one of the porcupines, on the computer animated comedy film “Over the Hedge,” which is based on the characters from United Media comic strip of the same name. Directed by  Tim Johnson and Karey Kirkpatrick, the film received mostly positive reviews from critics and was a box office success. The same year, she guest starred as Megan, a little girl who helps Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth, on an episode of “Bones” called “The Girl with the Curl” and portrayed Abby in the short film “Strangers.”  

Next up for Davenport, the San Antonio, Texas native beauty appeared in “While the Children Sleep” (2007, TV), “Humboldt County” (2008), the Patricia Rozema directed comedy/drama film “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl” (2008), where she jointly won the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Ensemble Cast for her performance, “Parasomnia” (2008), “The Attic Door” (2009), “Amish Grace” (2010, TV), “Jack and the Beanstalk” (2010), “Dad's Home” (2010) and “The Possession” (2012). Her voice could be heard as Sophiana on the animated Christmas movie “Christmas Is Here Again” (2007), and she was nominated for an Annie for Best Voice Acting in an Animated Television Production for her work on the film. She also guest starred on “ER” (2008), “Special Agent Oso” (2009, voice of Stacey), “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2011), “House M.D.” (2011) and “Criminal Minds” (2013). From 2011-2012, Davenport played the recurring role of Ethel on the Showtime comedy/drama “Shameless.” She had a regular role on the sitcom “Save Me,” which ran on NBC from May 23 to June 13, 2013.

Recently, Davenport was cast as Katie Fuller on the television horror series “From Dusk Till Dawn,” which premiered on Robert Rodriguez's newly launched channel, El Rey, on March 11, 2014. She played the role of Na'el on the biblically inspired epic “Noah,”co-starring alongside Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Anthony Hopkins. Released on March 2008, 2014, the film gained generally positive reviews from critics and grossed over $359 million worldwide.   

Davenport will play Hayley on the upcoming comedy film “The Nest,” starring Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, John Leguizamo, Ike Barinholtz, John Cena and James Brolin. Directed by Jason Moore and written by Paula Pell, the film is set to be released on December 18, 2015. She is scheduled to star with Taryn Manning on the forthcoming movie “A Light Beneath Their Feet” (2015).
