American actress and model Dianna Agron is best known for her roles as Debbie Marshall in the hit TV series “Heroes” (5 episodes, 2007) and as Quinn Fabray in the Fox successful musical drama series “Glee” (2009-2013), where she picked up a Screen Actors Guild Award and several nominations for her performance. She has appeared in films like “The Romantics” (2010), “I Am Number Four” (2011) and “The Family”  (2013). Agron was named one of People Magazine's “100 Most Beautiful People of 2010” and was ranked No. 81 on the FHM list of “100 Sexiest Women in the World of 2011.”

Agron is a vegetarian and is a supporter of PETA and gay rights. In 2012, she worked with The Trevor Project to raise money in honor of her birthday. She and her fans raised over $26,000 for donation. Using her Tumblr account, she tirelessly encourage fans to donate to several organizations, such as 826LA and the Wildlife Waystation. Agron has donated a lot of her possessions to the Vietnam Veterans of America in Los Angeles during August 2013. She enjoys cooking and being outdoors and is a big fan of Tim Burton.   

Agron was in a relationship with her “I Am Number Four” co-star Alex Pettyfer for a year. She shares an apartment in downtown Los Angeles with “Glee” co-star Lee Michele.

Childhood and Family:

Dianna Elise Agron was born on April 30, 1986, in Savannah, Georgia, to Mary Agron and Ronald Agron, a general manager for the Hyatt hotel chain. Due to his father's job, she grew up in San Antonio, Texas and San Francisco, California, and was raised Jewish. She graduated from Burlingame High School with honors. She has a younger brother named Jason Agron.

Dianna, whose nicknames are Di, Lady Di and Charlie, began performing at an early age. She took jazz and ballet dancing when she was three, and later added hip-hop dancing to her endeavors. Young Dianna also performed in a number of local musical theater productions. She decided to become an actress after graduating from high school.  



In 2005, Dianna Agron appeared in the low budget movie “Talkers Are No Good Doers,” which was directed and written by Julian Hoeber. In the following year, she made her television movie debut opposite Thomas Alan Beckett, Gino Burman-Loffredo and Sara Erikson in “ After Midnight: Life Behind Bars.” The same year, she landed a recurring role as Jenny Budosh in The CW's “Veronica Mars” (3 episodes, 2006-2007) as well as episodic roles in television series like “Close to Home,”  “CSI: NY,” “ Drake & Josh” and “Shark.”

In 2007, Agron  “T.K.O.” starred as Dyanna in the action/drama  film “T.K.O.,” directed by Declan Mulvey, and appeared with Paul Boukadakis, Joey Boukadakis and John Patrick in the short film “Rushers.” She also portrayed the lead role of Harper in the TV miniseries “It's a Mall World” and  appeared in the independent film “Skid Marks,” which was directed and co-written by Karl Kozak.

However, Agron did not attract the attention of public until she won the role of Debbie Marshall, the mean-girl cheerleader who gets taught a lesson by Claire Bennet (played by Hayden Panettiere) on the NBC popular series “Heroes.” She appeared in five episodes in 2007.

After making guest appearance in “Numb3rs” (2008, as Kelly Rand), Agron gained further recognition with her role as high school cheerleader Quinn Fabray on creator Ryan Murphy's breakout musical drama series “Glee,” which premiered on Fox on May 19, 2009. She was part of the main cast during the first three seasons and was reduced to guest star in season 4. For her work on the series, Agron jointly won the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and was nominated for SAG Awards in the same category in 2011, 2012 and 2013. The role also brought her Teen Choice nominations for Choice TV: Female Breakout Star (2010), Choice TV: Female Scene Stealer (2011) and Choice TV: Female Scene Stealer (2012).        

While working on “Glee,” Agron also appeared in the short films “Dinner with Raphael” and “A Fuchsia Elephant” (both 2009), which she also directed, wrote and produced, and the made for TV film “Celebrities Anonymous” (2010, as Sadie). She had a supporting role on the action/adventure film “Bold Native” (2010), starring Joaquin Pastor, Randolph Mantooth and Sheila Vand, co-starred with Katie Holmes, Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel and Adam Brody in the romantic comedy film “The Romantics” (2010), which is adapted from the the novel of the same name by Galt Niederhoffer, who also wrote the screenplay and directed the film, and was cast opposite Cher, Eric Dane, Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough, Alan Cumming, Peter Gallagher, Kristen Bell, and Stanley Tucci in the musical film “Burlesque” (2010). She played the leading role of Sarah Hart in the teen action film “I Am Number Four” (2011) and starred as Alice in the crime/horror film “The Hunters” (2011).

Agron was cast as the daughter of Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfeiffer in the Luc Besson directed film “The Family,” released on September 13, 2013.

Apart from acting, Agron has done some modeling. She was chosen to appear in Wal-Mart's Ocean Pacific spring 2010 marketing campaign, along with her “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith and other celebrities like Cassie Ventura, Jessica Szohr, Trevor Donovan and Alex Meraz. The national campaign made its debut in fashion, lifestyle and entertainment magazines such as Elle, Teen Vogue, Seventeen and Cosmopolitan. She has graced the cover of many publications like Elle, Seventeen, Glamour, Dolly, Teen Vogue, Rolling Stone, Sugar, GQ,  Candy, TV Guide, and Nylon for Guys.
