Cameron Richardson is an American model and actress. She has acted in several TV series, including “Cover Me: Based on the True Life of an FBI Family” (2000-2001), from which she jointly netted a YoungStar nomination, “Point Pleasant” (2005), “12 Miles of Bad Road” (2008), “Harper's Island” (2009), and films such as “The Good Humor Man” (2005), “Adrift” (2006), “Alvin and the Chipmunks” (2007) and “Hard Breakers” (2010).     

Richardson was in a relationship with Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger. In 2002, she was featured in the music video for the alternative rock band song “Are You In?”. She is the mother of the four year old Milo (fathered by Ben Shulman).        


Childhood and Family:

Cameron Richardson was born on September 11, 1979, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but was raised in New Jersey. She graduated from Old Bridge High School in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey in 1997. She moved to New York City to pursue a career in modeling, but her agents advised her to try acting.         

On July 10, 2010, Cameron gave birth to a baby boy named Milo. His father is Ben Shulman who is the brother of actress Juliette Lewis. Cameron was called Cam-Bones because of her very thin physique.

Cover Me


Cameron Richardson made her television acting debut in “Cover Me: Based on the True Life of an FBI Family,” where she played the role of Celeste Arno. For her work on the show, she was nominated for a YoungStar Award for Best Young Ensemble Cast – Television. “Cover Me” ran for one season from March 5, 2000 to March 24, 2001 on the USA Network. Her first feature film role was as Sharon Webber in the comedy “Frank McKlusky, C.I.” (2002), opposite Dave Sheridan, Randy Quaid and Dolly Parton.

Richardson had a recurring role as Darlene in the Fox serial drama “Skin” from 2003 to 2004, and then played the regular role of Paula Hargroveon the Fox short lived teen drama “Point Pleasant,” which ran from January 19 to June 10, 2005. She guest starred as Alex on an episode of “House M.D.” called “Skin Deep” (2006). In the meantime, Richardson also appeared in films such as “After School Special” (2003, playing Rachel Unger), “National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze” (2003, playing Adrienne), “The Good Humor Man” (2005, playing Wendy), “Supercross” (2005, playing Piper Cole) and “Adrift” (2006, playing Michelle).   

In 2007, Richardson was cast as Jason Lee's next door neighbor on “Alvin and the Chipmunks,”   a comedy film directed by Tim Hill and is based on the characters of the same name created by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. The film received mostly unfavorable reviews from critics but was a box office success. The same year, she portrayed Colette on the neo-noir action/horror film “Rise: Blood Hunter,” starring Lucy Liu, Michael Chiklis, Carla Gugino and Margo Harshman. She also appeared as Lindsay in the 2007 episode “Dog Day Afternoon” of “Entourage.” She later reprised the role in an episode in 2011 called “The Big Bang.”

Richardson played Mckenna Shakespeare Hall on the HBO series “12 Miles of Bad Road” (2008) and Chloe Carter, The Flirt, one of Trish's bridesmaids, on the CBS horror thriller/mystery mini-series “Harper's Island” (2009). She made guest appearances in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2012) and “Shameless” (2013, playing Cheryl). She also had roles on the films “Familiar Strangers” (2008), “Women in Trouble” (2009), “Wreckage” (2010), “Hard Breakers” (2010), “The Indestructible Jimmy Brown” (2011, TV), “4.2.3.” (2011, short), “Hotel Noir” (2012), “Vanished” (2012, Short), “Inland Empire” (2012, TV), “Holy Ghost People” (2013) and “The Jogger” (2013).

Recently, in 2014, Richardson worked with Anna Kendrick, Bryan Cranston and Alison Briein the comedy film “Get a Job,” and played Hannah Harkins in two episodes of “Murder in the First” and Tracey in “The Lottery”.

Richardson has completed filming the role of Cindy in the short film “Cindy's New Boyfriend” (2014). She will appear in upcoming films like “The Evil Gene” (2014), “10.0 Earthquake” (2014), “Something About Her” (2015) and “ The Last Beat” (2014).               

Apart from acting, ichardson has modeled for several fashion magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Mademoiselle, Interview and others. Her face graced the cover of Ocean Drive in 2006. She became cover model for the January-February 2008 issue of Women's Health Magazine. She has modeled clothes for  GAP, American Eagle Outfitters, Lucky Brand Jeans, Chic Jeans, and Roxy, among others.
