Anna Walton is British actress of television and film and model. She is known for playing roles on “Vampire Diary” (2006), from which she took home a Milan International Film Festival Award, “Hellboy II: The Golden Army” (2008), “Mutant Chronicles” (2008) and “Crusoe” (NBC, 2008-2009).

Childhood and Family:

Anna Walton was born on December 18, 1979, in London, England. She attended Queenswood School in Hertfordshire and later studied acting at the Oxford School of Drama, from which she graduated in 2004.

Anna has a brother named Henry, who is a guitarist for the band Zulu Winter. She appeared in the music video “Silver Tongue” by the band.       

In April 2007, Anna gave birth to a baby boy named Olivier.

Hellboy II: The Golden Army


Anna Walton started working as a model while still at Queenswood School in Hertfordshire. Her first television acting role was as Melissa Bernett in the BBC crime film “Bright Hair” (1997), starring Emilia Fox, James Purefoy and Oliver Milburn. She then appeared in the TV miniseries “Out of Hours” (1998).  

In 2006, Walton was cast in the starring role of  Vicki in the horror film “Vampire Diary,”  which was directed by Mark James and Phil O'Shea and produced by Michael Riley and Margaret Matheson. The film won the Best Actress (Walton), Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Film Categories at the 2008 Milan International Film Festival.

Walton next starred opposite Ian Hart and Paul Freeman in the 2007 short film “A Girl and a Gun,” directed and written by David Hughes, and played Princess Nuala in the American supernatural superhero film “Hellboy II: The Golden Army” (2008), starring Ron Perlman as the title character Hellboy. She attained the 2nd place for Best Supporting Actress at the 2009 Fangoria Chainsaw Awards for her work in the latter film. She also portrayed Severian in the action/adventure movie “Mutant Chronicles” (2008), which also starred her “Hellboy” co-star Ron Perlman.  

Walton returned to series television when she was cast in the regular role of Susannah Crusoe the NBC drama series “Crusoe,” opposite Philip Winchester, Tongayi Chirisa, Joaquim de Almeida, Mía Maestro, Sam Neill and Sean Bean. The show ran for a season from October 17, 2008 to January 31, 2009.  

Walton appeared with Rupert Friend, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Richard Coyle and Heather Graham in the Renny Harlin directed action/drama film “5 Days of War” (2011), portrayed Henry's mother in the short film “The Halloween Kid” (2011), starred in J.K. Amalou's “Deviation” (2012), alongside Danny Dyer and James Doherty, and was cast opposite Rosie Day, Sean Pertwee and Kevin Howarh in the horror/thriller film “The Seasoning House” (2012).

In 2013, Walton appeared as Diane de Poitiers in the television series “Reign,” starring Adelaide Kane, Mark Baldesarra and Vanessa Carter.

Walton has completed filming the role of Audrey in the British mystery film “Soulmate” (2013), directed and written by Axelle Carolyn. She also will star in the short film “ Buoy” (2013) and the TV film “Lucan” (2014).
