Initially gaining notice in the long-running daytime drama "Ryan's Hope" (1985-1989), she continued to play roles on television series like "One Life to Live" (1993-1994), "Nash Bridges" (1998), and "Titans" (2000). On the big screen, first appearing in Hey Babe! (1980), Bleeth received mixed reviews from film critics for her portrayal of Jenna Reed in the comedy BASEketball (1998), in which she won a Razzie Award. The following years saw Bleeth in Heaven or Vegas (1999), Undercover Angel (1999), Coming Soon (1999) and Goodbye, Casanova (2000).

One of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in 1995, Yasmine Bleeth is 5' 5'' inches tall and measures 36C-24-35. Off screen, she was sentenced to two years probation on a cocaine-possession charge. She also had to go through regular drug testing, serve 100 hours of community service and pay court costs. Commenting on her cocaine addiction, she said, "It was almost like falling in love... It became my boyfriend, my best friend, my family."

As for her romantic life, Bleeth once dated Grant Show (dated while starring in Ryan's Hope in 1984-1987), Luke Perry (dated from 1987-1988) and Ricky Paull Goldin (together for five years). She was next romantically involved with actor Richard Greico (dated in 1996-2000) before deciding to marry former bar owner Paul Carrito on August 25, 2002.

Yazmania

Childhood and Family:

Daughter to Philip Bleeth (businessman) and Corina Bleeth (former model; died in 1989 of breast cancer), Yasmine Amanda Bleeth was born on June 14, 1968, in New York City, New York. Her parents divorced when she was in her teens. Yasmine has two half brothers: Tristan Bleeth (born in 1986) and Miles Bleeth (born in 1988).

Even as a baby, Yasmine Bleeth, whose nickname is Yaz or Yazmania, was brought before the public when she was featured as a Johnson & Johnson baby in advertisements. As a young girl, she appeared in cosmetic commercials for such campaigns as Max Factor ads, which eventually captured the attention of fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo. Yasmine added acting to her endeavors by making her feature-acting debut in Hey Babe (1980). While she was at the city's United Nations International School, bilingual Yasmine worked on camera as a model and an actress.

Yasmine was one of the top 45 pokers players when she joined the competition at the U.S Poker Championship in Atlantic City. As for her private life, Yasmine met former bar owner Paul Carrito at Malibu's rehab facility Promises. She then married him on August 25, 2002, in Santa Barbara, California. The couple currently resides in Los Angeles.

"Ryan's Hope"

Career:

When just 6 months old, Yasmine Bleeth began entering the spotlight when she was featured as the Johnson & Johnson baby in the well-known "No More Tears" shampoo commercial. When she was six years old, Bleeth modeled for a Max Factor advertising campaign and appeared as one of Scavullo's Women in his photo book.

While pursuing a modeling career, twelve-year-old Bleeth made her acting debut when she was cast as Theresa O'Brian in the feature film Hey Babe! (1980) opposite Buddy Hackett. She returned to the scene in 1985 after winning the title character in the daytime soap "Ryan's Hope." During her stay as series regular Ryan Maeve Fenelli Hyde from 1985-1989, Bleeth collected legions of fans. At about the same time, she also landed her first off-Broadway jobs in productions of "Welcome to My Life" and "Looking for It."

Bleeth continued to play roles in soap operas after being cast as the hot, misunderstood Lee Ann Demerest Buchanan in the highly acclaimed drama "One Life to Live" (1991-1993). She next joined director Pierre David in the sci-fi thriller The Force (1994), playing Coral Wilson opposite Jason Gedrick.

In the year 1994, Bleeth's big break arrived when she played a lifeguard in the popular series Baywatch Hawaii (1994-1997). During her three-year stint on the show, Bleeth continued to rise in fame. People Magazine voted her one of 50 Most Beautiful People in 1995. While working in the show, she briefly reprised her character in the direct-to-video Baywatch the Movie: Forbidden Paradise (1995). She also starred in the television movie A Face to Die For (1996), playing the starring role of Emily Gilmore before adding two more television films, Talk to Me (1996/I) and Crowned and Dangerous (1997), to her resume.

After playing Jackie Ivers in The Lake (1998, TV), Bleeth costarred with Jenny McCarthy in the comedy film Basketball (1998), portraying Jenna Reed. Unfortunately, she was awarded a Razzie award for Worst Actress for her work in the film.

Returning to TV, the Baywatch star was cast as policewoman Caitlin Cross in the CBS hit show "Nash Bridges" (1998), along side Don Johnson. Though she could cement her position as a star again, Bleeth left the series in the new millennium.

The end of the decade saw Bleeth in several movies like Ultimate Deception (1999,TV), Heaven or Vegas (1999), Coming Soon (1999), It Came From the Sky (1999,TV), Undercover Angel (1999) and Road Rage (1999,TV).

Departing from "Nash Bridges," Bleeth was seen in the made-for-TV movie Hidden War (2000, played Alexia Forman). She next played the ghost Cassanova's girlfriend Lavinia in the collaboration of director Mauro Borrelli and producer Jeff Kirshbaum, Goodbye, Casanova (2000). After rejecting roles in Aaron Spelling's "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990) and "Pacific Palisades" (1997), Bleeth decided to team up with him in the made for-TV-movie "Titans" (2000, played vixen Heather Lane Williams) and then reprised her role for the TV series.

In 2001 Bleeth was arrested for drug possession and forced to leave the scene for a couple of years. When she returned to acting, she reprised the character of Caroline Holden in the television movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding (2003). Another television film, Maximum Surge Movie (2003), followed that year.
