NOMAD TWO WORLDS shoot ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO w/RUSSELL JAMES

By SP_COP on June 26, 2013
A behind the scenes look at Russell James' NOMAD TWO WORLDS art shoot with ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO. The two hit culturally relevant caves and a traditional Chumash Indian village thanks to the CHUMASH INDIAN MUSEUM in Thousand Oaks, CA. For at least 3000 years, the Chumash tribe has made their home in territory that once spanned from the beaches of Malibu and the Channel Islands to Paso Robles on the west coast, to the inland edge of the San Joaquin Valley, CA.

The photos will eventually be embellished by Indigenous artists, adding an additional layer of culturally relevant storytelling and art to the collaborative pieces in the overall NOMAD TWO WORLDS collection, helping to raise awareness for the beauty and traditions of Indigenous and threatened cultures.
