From 2008 to 2010, Marano played the regular role of Eden Gerick on “The Young and the Restless,” a role originally portrayed by Erin Sanders, who was let go shortly after her debut because of  the negative response her portrayal received. She also guest starred in TV shows like “Miss Guided” (2008), “The Closer” (2008) and “Ghost Whisperer” (2008), and had supporting roles on the TV films “Hell on Earth” (2007) and “Man of Your Dreams” (2008). In 2009, Marano played a recurring role as Haley on the TNT short lived series “Trust Me” and as Rebecca Mitchel on Showtime's “Dexter.” She also played Samantha Combs on the family/comedy feature film “Dear Lemon Lima” (2009).
