Good point I added a spoiler warning.
Yeah the heavyweight division does look very shallow, it was a lot more interesting with Mir and Andrei in the mix. The very sight of Sylvia now bores me.
The Heavyweight division needs some characters like Tank Abbott, Emmanuel Yarbrough, and Harold Howard again. They might lose every once in a while, but at least they'll keep the fights interesting.

just finnished watching it. Main event was great, i actualy though "big jon" went to stop the fight in the first before the bell went but hey. The heavyweight divivsion is going in the same way as boxing, dead and boring.

I would like to see a Penn/GSP rematch sometime soon with Penn in full fighting health, not how he has been the last two times. GSP's victory over Penn for the number one contender was probably his least convincing victory to date.

I finally got a chance to watch the Hughes/GSP match. Wow did Matt ever get dominated. Well done, GSP.

yeah except for BJ in their first fight and the first two rounds of the rematch, I have never seen Matt being dominated like that.

Inside the UFC premieres tonight on SPIKE, right after two back to back episodes of UFC unleashed, I am liking the trend of more UFC programming on SPIKE.

4 days from possibly the biggest and most anticipated fight ever. Any predictions? I personally think Chuck in the 2nd or 3rd round via TKO. I want Tito to really get his ass kicked, but Randy Couture has stated that if Tito wins wins he will come out of retirement to "give Tito a whack". That makes me want Tito to win just to see Randy fight again.

Tonight is the night, I already have it ordered.
Predictions anyone?
A year ago I would've probably said that Chuck would annihilate Tito, but Tito has been training hard and is in the best shape of his life, this fight can go either way. Will we see another title transfer and loss avenged, as we saw not so long ago with Hughes vs. St. Pierre? I can't wait to see it, that's for sure. Whatever the outcome, I just want to see a good fight.

I am going to say Chuck in the 2nd or 3rd round by TKO/KO. The match is so big I feel they are probably going to feel each other our for probably the first round and then go at it. If Tito tries to stand with him I see him getting knocked on his ass pretty soon. But if by some miracle Tito can get Chuck down and keep him down consistently who knows. It has been a season of champions getting upset after all. While it is true that Tito has also been on a "streak" two of his wins have been against Shamrock and the other two against Belfort and Griffin were close enough to have gone either way.
Some other exciting fights on the card too, Leben vs Jason McDonald, Arlowski vs Cruz, Griffin vs Jardine... every fight looks good, should be a great PPV, can hardly wait

In other news, Queintin "Rampage" Jackson is rumored to be coming to the UFC. You guys may remember him as Chucks only unavenged loss to date. That should be interesting

Total domination. He could've finished Ortiz off in the first, but he wanted to give him another chance. Ortiz is not in the same league.

Over the history of the UFC there have been several memorable fighters. If you had the power to go back to the "superfight" format, which fighters would you put together for your dream match? Who would win? Here are a couple of my suggestions.
1. Royce Gracie vs. Tito Ortiz, Chuck Lidell or Randy Couture
2. Dan Severn vs. Tito Ortiz, Chuck Lidell or Randy Couture
I'd love to see those two legends in their prime go up against today's top stars.

Spoilers ahead if you haven't seen the UFC PPV yet...
Couple of fights I didn't see going the way they did last night. I didn't think MacDonald even had a chance to beat Leben, but I guess you can never count out us Canucks! I thought Jardine might be able to take Griffin, but 1st round KO? Never woulda thunk it.
The main event was actually pretty good, but Tito looked really intimidated the whole time. It wasn't the usual full speed ahead he usually goes for. Can't wait for Rampage to get his shot at Chuck. Never seen him fight before, but he looks like an absolute MONSTER, and his style sounds like it should give Chuck problems.
Absolutely looking forward to the next PPV, the UFC debut of CroCop. I've been waiting to see him fight for months. Hopefully we get to see one of his apparently amazing head-kicks!
