Tera Patrick, born Linda Ann Hopkins, is an American pornographic
actress. She is a member of the Adult Video News Hall of Fame and won
the AVN Awards for Best New Starlet in 2001 and for Best Tease
Performance in 2002. She also was nominated for the X-Rated Critics'
Organization Award for Mainstream Adult Media Favorite twice in 2008
and 2009. Patrick appeared in a non pornographic film called
“Rintihan Kuntilanak Perawan” (“Moaning of Virgin
Ghost”), which was released in Indonesia in 2010. A former Ford
model, the 5' 9˝" beauty was ranked No. 57 on FHM magazine's
“100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006” supplement.
Patrick has been separated from husband Evan Seinfeld since 2009. They
remain business partners. Patrick and Seinfeld have made five movies
for Vivid and ten for Teravision, with Seinfeld appearing under the
alias Spyder Jonez. Patrick is in a relationship with Tony Acosta, with
whom she welcomed a daughter, Sophia Evelia, in 2012.

Childhood and Family:
Tera Patrick was born Linda Ann Hopkins on July 25, 1976, in Great
Falls, Montana, to a Thai mother and an American Army doctor of English
and Dutch descent. Shortly after her birth, her family relocated to San
Francisco. Before long, her mother left the family to return to
Thailand, leaving a very young Tera under the care of her father. At
age 13, she was discovered by a talent scout for Morning Sun, an
international division of Ford Modeling Agency, and moved to New York
City to model professionally. She quit modeling after five years and
returned to school. She attended Boise State University in Boise,
Idaho, from which she received an A.A.S. degree in Nursing and a B.S.
In October 2002, Tera was engaged to rock star/actor Evan Seinfeld.
They married on January 9, 2004, but separated later in September 2009.
On February 25, 2012, Tera gave birth to a baby girl, Sophia Evelia Acosta. The child's father is her boyfriend, Tony Acosta.

Tera Patrick got her first start as a model when she was 13 years old.
She signed with the world-renowned Ford Agency and modeled in New York
City for five years until she quit at age 18 to resume her
education. After completing her degree, she found a work as a nurse,
but she eventually gave up and followed her heart to enter the adult

“Pet of the Month” for February 2000. She also was chosen
as “Pet of the Year” runner-up.
Patrick made her debut in adult video films in 1999 in “Up and

over 20 additional adult videos throughout the year, including
“Asian Street Hookers 7,” “Of Time and

fall of 1999, she started her own internet talk show, “The Tera
Patrick Show.” She invited adult-film stars, directors, and
producers on her show.
In 2001, Patrick won the Adult Video News Award for Best New Starlet.
She then picked up the Adult Video News Award for Best Tease
Performance for her performance in “Island Fever” (2001).
The film also won the AVN Awards for Best Editing – Video and Top
Renting Tape of 2001. Her work with Savanna Samson in “Tera Tera
Tera” (2004) earned the two an AVN nomination in 2005 for Best
All-Girl Sex Scene – Video.
Following her marriage to the “Oz” actor Evan Seinfeld in
2004, Patrick was preparing to leave the adult film industry. She
formed her own production company, Teravision Inc., and with her
husband opened an agency The Tera Patrick Agency in 2006.
However, after a year hiatus, Patrick made a comeback to the adult film
business by signing a contract with Vivid Video. The deal called for
her to appear in three movies for Vivid over the next two years and she
would perform with her husband and other women only. In
collaboration with Vivid, Teravision released its first hardcore
feature, “Desperate” (2005), which starred Patrick, Shy
Love and Tommy Gunn.
In 2007, Patrick was nominated for the Adult Video News Awards for
Contract Star of the Year (For Teravision/Vivid Entertainment Group)
and Crossover Star of the Year. In the following year, she received
another AVN nomination for Crossover Star of the Year and also two
additional AVN nominations for Best All-Girl Sex Scene – Video in
“Where the Boys Aren't 18” (2007) and for Best Couples Sex
Scene – Film in “Fashion Underground” (2006), which
she shared with Tommy Gunn. Also in 2008, Patrick started hosting
the Playboy TV erotic instructional show, “School of Sex,”
and appeared in several episodes of the reality TV show “Secret
Lives of Women.”
Patrick was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2009. The same year,
she received the AVN nominations for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene in
“Where the Boys Aren't 19: Arabian Nights” (2008), Best
All-Girl 3-Way Sex Scene in “Tera Goes Gonzo” (2008) and
Best Solo Sex Scene in “Tera Goes Gonzo” (2008). She also
was nominated for the AVN Award for Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the
In 2010, Patrick appeared in the Indonesian non-pornographic horror
movie, “Rintihan Kuntilanak Perawan” (“Moaning of
Virgin Ghost”), which was released nationwide on October 14 to
November 16. The same year, she jointly netted an AVN nomination (with
Evan Seinfeld) for Best Couples Sex Scene for her performance in
“Sex in Dangerous Places” (2009).
Recently appearing in the adult films “Extreme Gagging” and
“Grab and Bind of Tera Patrick: The Perils of Tera” (both
2013), Patrick will play the role of Nancy in the upcoming comedy film
“Live Nude Girls” (2013), starring Mike Hatton, Dave Foley
and Bree Olson. The film was directed and co-written by Jay Leggett.
