English journalist and presenter Susanna Reid is famous for presenting
“BBC Breakfast” from 2004 to present. She also presented
“Sunday Morning Live” from 2010 to 2011 and was a
newsreader on “The Andrew Marr Show” from 2007 to 2008. In
2013, she participated as a contestant on the television show
“Strictly Come Dancing.”
Reid has been together with fellow BBC presenter Dominic Cotton since
1998. They married in 2001 and have three sons together. Both Reid and
her husband are supporters for Crystal Palace FC. In 2013, while

Childhood and Family:
Susanna Reid was born on December 10, 1970, in Croydon, London,
England, to a management consultant and a nurse. Her father is an
English of Scottish descent and her mother is an English. Her parents
divorced when she was a child. Susanna attended the independent Croham
Hurst School, Croydon from 1975 to 1981, then the independent Croydon
High School from 1981 to 1987 and St Paul's Girls' School in London
from 1987 to 1989. She studied Politics, Philosophy and Law at the
University of Bristol from 1989 until 1992. While at Bristol, she
became editor of its student newspaper, Epigram. She then received a
Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the Cardiff School of

Sunday Morning Live
Susanna Reid got her first start at BBC Radio Bristol before becoming
both a reporter and producer for Radio 5 Live. She went on to
become a reporter for BBC News 24 for two years. While pregnant with
her first child, she became a stand-in presenter for
“23:00” when the original presenter did not come out one
night. She eventually landed a permanent post on the show. Following a
second maternity break, she became a presenter on the BBC News channel.
Reid's big break arrived when she was hired as a main presenter for the
British morning television news programme “BBC Breakfast”.
She began presenting Friday to Sunday in 2004, and in 2007, she started
to share the duty with Charlie Stayt. In 2012, Reid joined Bill
Turnbull on Monday to Wednesday, replacing Sian Williams. Reid has
presented from the Academy Awards Ceremony twice in 2009 and 2010.
Meanwhile, in 2010, Reid quit presenting “Breakfast” on
Saturdays and Sundays to take a role on a new programme “Sunday
Morning Live,” a religious and currents affairs discussion
programme aired on BBC One. She presented the first two series of the
programme from July 2010 to November 2011.
Reid also became a newsreader on “The Andrew Marr Show”
from January 2007 to October 2008. In May 2010, she substituted Andrew
Marr briefly for the Sunday newspaper review when he arrived late for
the programme after interviewing the new Prime Minister David Camero.
She made her debut as the main show's presenter in March 2013 when Marr
was on lengthy absence after suffering a stroke in early 2013.
In September 2013, Reid joined the eleventh series of “Strictly
Come Dancing” as a contestant. She partnered with newcomer
and ballroom champion, Kevin Clifton. Previously, she paired with Robin
Windsor in the “Children in Need” special of the show,
where they ended up winning it in November 2011.
