Stella Hudgens is an American young actress. She is known as the younger sister of “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens. She has appeared in the films “Deeply Irresponsible” (2007),  “The Memory Thief” (2007) and “Single with Parents” (2008, TV) and in the TV shows “American Family” (2002) and “According to Jim” (2004).

The natural eyed, brown haired beauty is of Filipino, Latin, Chinese, Irish and American Indian descent. She is good friends with Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale. She has an ability in photography. Her favorite shoes are her cowboy boots, her favorite color is lime green, her favorite movie is “Return To Oz”  and her favorite food is Sushi. Stella and her sister Vanessa have a dog named Shadow, three turtles and some fish.     


Childhood and Family:

Stella Hudgens was born Stella Teodora Chanel Guangco Hudgens on November 13, 1995, in Ocean Beach, California, to parents Gregory Hudgens, who was a firefighter, and Gina Guangco, who held a succession of office job. Her father is of Irish and Native American lineage, while her mother, a native of Manila, Philippines, is of Spanish-Chinese-Filipino lineage.  She is the younger sister of actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens (born December 14, 1988). She is homeschooled. Her nicknames are Stellar, Stell, Stellie, Stella Bella, Ella, StaSta, Stellz, BabyS, and Starer.   

The Memory Thief


Stella Hudgens began her career in a series of television advertisements. In 2002, she landed a guest spot in the episode “The Masked Eagle: Part 1” of the PBS drama/family series “American Family”. There she portrayed Young Dora. Two years later, she played the role of Annie in an episode of the ABC hit sitcom “According to Jim” called “No Crime, But Punishment”.    

In 2007, Stella appeared with Tanner Berney, Larry Joe Campbell and Tom Conti on the comedy film “Deeply Irresponsible”, in which she played the role of Kate. The same year, she played Amanda in “The Memory Thief”, a drama film written and directed by Gil Kofman and starring Mark Webber, Rachel Miner and Jerry Adler. The film won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature  at the Red Rock Film Festival, Utah, USA.

In 2008, Stella co-starred opposite Beau Bridges, Amanda Detmer and Meagen Fay in the made for TV film “Single with Parents”, directed by Michael Engler. There she played the role of Teri Jo.

In 2012, Stella made a self appearance in an episode of “Punk'd” called “Lucy Hale”.
