Svenska Hollywood fruar Career: Sofia Eng made her feature film acting debut as Dory Grey in the American mystery film “The Fountain of Death” (1996), alongside Chris Anderson, Brad Calcaterra and Lauren Dagey. The film was directed by Jeff Glickman and scripted by John Shortsleeve. Three years later, she landed a notable supporting role as Miss Lippenrieder in the steampunk action/comedy film “Wild Wild West” (1999), which was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and starring Will Smith, Kevin Kline, Kenneth Branagh and Salma Hayek. The film earned mostly negative reviews from critics, and won five Razzie Awards, including Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Screen Couple and Worst Original Song. It grossed over $222 million worldwide against a $170 million budget. In 2000, Eng was cast as Anita in the independent drama film “Ivansxtc,” starring Danny Huston, Peter Weller and James Merendino. Bernard Rose directed and wrote the film, which was adapted from Leo Tolstoy's novella “The Death of Ivan Ilyich.” In 2009, Eng made her debut as a casting director with a Swedish reality television show called “Svenska Hollywood fruar,” which debuted in Sweden on September 8, 2009. She reprised her duty as casting director for the Danish reality TV series “Danske Hollywoodfruer” in 2010.
