This is not your run of the mill mainstream movie. If you're looking for a perfectly polished movie with repetative special effects, and predictable characters than don't see this film, you will be disappointed.

BUT if you want to watch somthing that is different, gruesome (no panning away from the action here folks!) and deeply horrifying (if you look past a few things) watch this film.

I personally loved this movie because it's very creative and the characters are spontaneous loose cannons. The colors are GREAT, and the movie is peppered with visual twists.

So if your not ready to break away from the everyday, don't see it.

But if you are.... strap in tight, your in for psychotic ride!

house is a standard horror movie. These movies are formulaic, and Rob Zombie movie follows the formula. It's like Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the old one), just with more gore. It's not scary or frightening, just disturbing. Zombie's direction and angles are the best part of the film.
