Niecy Jackson
Background:
African-American actress Shar Jackson is best remembered for her portrayal as Niecy Jackson opposite Brandy's titular teen character on the hit UPN sitcom “Moesha” (1996-2001). Sometimes credited as Sharisse Jackson, Shar Jackson appeared on UPN show “Girlfriends” and costarred with Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson in the Nickelodeon movie, Good Burger (1997). She was also seen in the 2000 big screen’s Love & Basketball.
On a more personal note, Shar Jackson was involved with background dancer Kevin Federline and has two children with him. Two months after the birth of her second child with Federline, Federline married pop princess Britney Spears (September 2004).

September 4, 1976 born Sharisse Jackson attended Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble. She received the Award of Distinction from the Directors Guild of America for writing, directing and producing a school film at age 13. During her free time, she enjoys judo, kung fu, ice-skating, singing and all forms of dance.
Shar Jackson is a mother of four. She has two children with background dancer Kevin Federline (born on March 21, 1978), daughter Kori (born on Wednesday, July 31, 2002) and son Kaleb (born on Tuesday, July 20, 2004). She also has two older children: son Donnie (born in 1993) and daughter Cassie (born in 1995).

Career:
Having started acting by age three when signed up with the Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble, Shar Jackson also began modeling with the Ubiquitous, John Robert Powers and Barbizon agencies. After studying acting with Bob Feldman, Jackson landed several regional commercials and made guest appearances in such shows as "Roc," "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" and "Getting By."
Jackson first appeared in the big screen in Tamra Davis and Marty Thomas' rap comedy CB4 (1993, starring Chris Rock). She then made two-episode recurring roles in "South Central" (May 1994) and "My So-Called Life" (September 1994). She was also spotted as a guest in an episode of "Minor Adjustments" (September 1995) and "The Steve Harvey Show" (November 1996).

While working on the long-running series, Jackson appeared on the 1996 TV movie Grand Avenue and in the 1997 big screen’s Good Burger. The new millennium saw Jackson playing character Felicia in the movie Love & Basketball and in Family Reunion: The Movie (2003, V). On the small screen, she appeared as a guest in "Search Party," "The Parkers," "Girlfriends" and "The Proud Family." She will soon appeared as herself in the upcoming TV movie Dirty Famous.
