Big Sam Ball is a legend in Kentucky. He earned three letters at offensive tackle, was Most Valuable Lineman, and went to several All Star Games. He was the number one draft choice of the Baltimore Colts in 1966, and won Super Bowl V with the Colts in 1971. 

University of Kentucky retired his #73 jersey in 1991, and he was voted into the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame in 1988. He is currently a motivational speaker. He still lives in Kentucky, and has two daughters and a son.
