Victoria's Secret Model

Career:

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley kicked off her modeling career in 2003, at the age of 16. She first modeled for a Levi's jeans commercial and received her first big break later in January 2004 when she did a shoot for Teen Vogue in New York. Still in New York, she went on to make her catwalk debut along with Naomi Naomi Campbell in Spring 2004, and then worked with photographer Bruce Weber   for a shoot with Abercrombie & Fitch.

The blue eyed beauty experienced a bigger success in 2006 when she signed with American top lingerie brand Victoria's Secret. She made her debut with Victoria's Secret at the brand's 2006 show in Los Angeles.

However, Huntington-Whiteley was not popular outside the fashion industry up until 2008, when she appeared with actor Sam Riley in Burberry's autumn/winter campaign. She replaced   Agyness Deyn for the campaign and was cast by chief creative director Christopher Bailey. In November 2008, she made her first appearance on the British Vogue cover alongside Eden Clark and Jourdan Dunn.

In 2009, Huntington-Whiteley worked with Michael Bay on a Victoria's Secret commercial. The same year, she was the face of Karen Millen's spring/summer 2009 advertising campaign and appeared in Godiva and Miss Sixty campaigns.

In February 2010, Huntington-Whiteley was officially named one of Victoria's Secret “Angels.”  Later that same year, she posed nude for the Pirelli Calendar, which was photographed by Terry Richardson, and walked down the catwalks for designers Prada in Milan and Giles Deacon in Paris. She appeared on the covers of Harper's Bazaar Russia and GQ UK for the May 2010 issues and was featured on the cover of LOVE Magazines for the September issue. She also modeled for Burberry as well as the company's first Beauty line ad and appeared in other advertising campaigns for Loewe, Thomas Wylde, and Leon Max.

In March 2011, Huntington-Whiteley appeared in her first solo cover of Vogue UK. She then appeared on the covers of the UK's July issues of Elle and GQ. Also in July 2011, she was named the face of Burberry's newest fragrance, Burberry Body.

“It was a crazy opportunity that was handed to me and spent seven months making the movie with a great cast and a great director.” Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (on landing the lead female role in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”)

Huntington-Whiteley made her venture into acting when she was cast as the female lead, Carly, Sam's new love interest, on Michael Bay's “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” replacing Megan Fox. Released 29 June 2011, the film was a huge commercial success  though critical reception of the film was generally negative. As for Huntington-Whiteley, she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer Movie Star: Female and won a ShoWest Award for Female Star of Tomorrow. She also received Razzie nominations for Worst Supporting Actress and Worst Screen Couple, the latter of which she shared with Shia LaBeouf.

In 2012, Huntington-Whiteley was named the Style Icon at the Elle Style Awards.

In 2013, Huntington-Whiteley starred in the Marks & Spencer Xmas advert alongside Helena Bonham Carter and David Gandy.

Huntington-Whiteley will play the role of Splendid on the upcoming post-apocalyptic action film “Mad Max: Fury Road,” which was directed, produced and co-written by George Miller. It is scheduled to be released on May 15, 2015.
