 | this movie was very much so worth the price and i would recomend it to you as long as your not an old uptight stickler. it had some unsulting humor and i would not tell just anyone to go see this movie. at times im sure it could be insulting to some people but thats part of what makes this light hearted comedy so fun to watch. movies are there to keep people entertained and thats just what this movie did..ENTERTAINED!! those who think this movie sucked most likly went to the movie in a bad mood or just dont have a sence of humor cause theres no way this movie should get only one star!! if your insulted by sexual humor or strong languge this movie might not be for you, but i think everyone else might enjoy this movie as much as i did |

 | I'm not someone who doesn't usually like crude or obscene comedy; the Austin Powers movies are some of my favorites, and during Team America I laughed my fundaments off, even while being offended. However, those were very funny. To me, Deuce Bigalow, European Gigolo crosses the line to where disgust outweighs funny. Of course it's a matter of taste, and perhaps some older teenagers might get a giggle out some of the repulsive sights of this film, which relies primarily on sight gags and implications relating deformed and handicapped people with "sex" acts. Other "humor" involves a black pimp's fear of being labeled gay.
If either Austin Powers or Team America crossed the line for you, you're more likely get sick from Deuce Bigelow than to laugh at it. On the other hand, if you liked the crudest parts of those films and don't think they went far enough, then this is your movie. I'll give it a couple stars for audacity, but recommend you stay away unless you're a sophomoric pervert. |

 | You don't go into theatre to see "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" and expect to see a modern classic of American Film. You go into a theatre to see the new "Deuce Bigalow" movie to see a dumb movie that may very well be funny. After all, Adam Sandler's career was made on such movies, as was Jim Carrey's. Rob Schneider, however, is neither Adam Sandler nor Jim Carrey. So while the dumb comedy genre has the potential to deliver big laughs, this movie doesn't. To be fair, I have seen "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" and it was surprisingly funny and far better than I expected. It offered a fairly ridiculous premise: Rob Schneider becomes a male prostitute. Right. That's what I thought. And yet because of Schneider's good nature and the absurd nature of his "clients", the movie worked more often than it should have. In a place where a little went farther than it should have, Columbia Pictures decided to finance another "Deuce Bigalow" movie.
Here is the story so far: Deuce (Schneider) is still working as a fish expert, having given up the life of a gigolo when he married his wife Kate. Kate, unfortunately, was eaten by a shark two years ago because Deuce did not realize there was meat sauce on the lettuce he was feeding a sea turtle off of the coast of Mexico. Still with me? We open the movie with Deuce getting himself into a little bit of trouble because of two kids who are serious punks and mess with his research which causes a marine accident with some elderly blind people. When Deuce gets a phone call from his friend T.J. (Eddie Griffin) in Amsterdam, Deuce accepts the invitation to join T.J. and visit for a while. T.J. is living large as a pimp but is down on hard times (so to speak) because there is a murderer stalking the gigolos of the city. After stumbling upon a victim and somehow getting his friend implicated, Deuce decides to help T.J. discover who the real killer is by going back into business as a gigolo and investigating the crimes. Honestly, that is probably more than you need to know and it is as much as I can bear to tell about the story.
Like a "Police Academy" movie, the plot really does not matter one bit. It is an excuse to get our hero (hero?) from one situation to another and to drive the humor along. The real question should be: is this movie funny? The answer: No, not really. Much of the movie is rather stupid and parts that I think were supposed to be funny were not actually funny. Again, for the sake of honesty there were several parts that I laughed out loud at and several more that I quietly chuckled too myself. The laughs were few and far between and did not deliver nearly as much dumb humor as one would hope for. "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" was neither fun nor funny, and the only recommendation I can give is to stay away from this movie and instead watch nearly anything else, except perhaps, "Boat Trip".
Grade: D

 | It's supposed to be stupid, just a bunch of offensive jokes, and that is what it is.
Deuce must work again for TJ to uncover the Gigalo killer in Amsterdam. Not a murder mystery, it's easy to figure out the killer, but the jokes are too good to want to. They make up all sorts of gigalo moves with names like "Irish Facial", "Turkish Snowcone" and "Chilean Rainbow" and TJ is in fine form as a slightly psycho pimp framed for the murders.
Deuce once more makes his way through the freaks of Europe by being understanding to their needs rather than their desires. Yes, he finds love again, with a loopy COD hot chick.
Don't bother going if you didn't like the first one, "The Animal" or "The Hot Chick"; it's in that vane. There are more potty humor jokes than the first but more naked chicks and the jokes come faster than the first.
Something to be enjoyed for what it is. Stupid frat boy humor.

 | I'm an asian male. The first movie poked fun at gays & handicaps but wasn't insulting. This sequel poked fun at gays, mexicans, handicaps, and male prostitutes. But in the the movie, there were 5 scenes which poked fun at asian males having small d**ks. This was very very insulting. Not in one scene but in 5 scenes was this referenced. Not all asian males have small you know what. You can trust me on this. This movie really ruined my day. I face racial slurrs like this in real life and now i have to see this movie and hear about it in 5 separate scenes. This movie went way over the border. There was a scene in which a French guy (i believe) who poked fun at Americans and say that we the US love to invade and kill innocent people for oil (hello Iraq)(which is 100% true) but no one in the theatre was laughing when this was mentioned. But people were laughing at racial stereotypes which isn't always true. If u're a white American than this movie doesn't really refer to you in a derogatory way other than the invading/killing in Iraq. And the plot was horrible. The first movie was bad but was able to get away with it. Not this sequel. |
