Career:

First entering the industry as various characters on NBC's Emmy Award-winning late-night talk show "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," Preston Lacey, a former truck driver, followed it up with a role as Billy Grill in the short-lived sci-fi/comedy series starring Dian Bachar and Sam Maccarone, "Captain Jackson" (1999).

Entering the new millennium, Lacey landed his big break on MTV's stunt-based reality TV series, "Jackass" (2000-2002), alongside Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius and Jason "Wee-Man" Acuna, among other cast members. Since then, he has been involved in almost all of Jackass-related projects, including the videos "Don't Try This at Home: The Steve-O Video" (2001; Lacey and Johnny Knoxville was seen throwing darts at Steve's butt), "Don't Try This at Home: The Tour" (2002), Bam Margera's "CKY 4 Latest & Greatest" (2002), "Steve-O: Out on Bail" (2003), "Jackass: Volume Two" (2004), "The Making of 'Jackass Number Two'" (2006), and "Jackass 2.5" (2007). He was also featured in the series' film versions, "Jackass: The Movie" (2002) and its sequel, "Jackass Number Two" (2006), both of which are box office hits and were directed by Jeff Tremaine. Additionally, he provided his voice for the video game version of the series, "Jackass" (2007).

Meanwhile, Lacey starred in the short-lived reality TV show "The Hot Show" and appeared as the Hefty Man in Casey La Scala's film about amateur skaters starring Adam Brody and Mike Vogel, "Grind" (2003). In 2006, alongside ''Jackass'' actors Steve-o, Jason Acuna and Chris Pontius, Lacey starred in "National Lampoon's TV: The Movie," which he wrote the screenplay and co-produced, and alongside Paris Hilton in the comedy "National Lampoon's Pledge This!," which was released as an unrated DVD on December 19, 2006.

Recently, in 2007, Lacey co-starred with Patrick Swayze, Matthew Knight, Chris Kattan and Carmen Electra in James Orr's family/comedy film "Christmas in Wonderland," as Kattan's mentally-challenged brother. He is currently filming Sam Maccarone's upcoming comedy movie which Lacey co-wrote, "The Life of Lucky Cucumber," and Kevin Connor's drama film "Life of the Party," in which Lacey stars as silent comedian Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle, opposite Chris Kattan.

As a ''Jackass'' member, Lacey will return in "Jackass 3," the third of the "Jackass" films which Steve-O has confirmed during his appearance on the "Howard Stern Show."
