Penn Jillette is the 6'6" talking half of the entertaining duo, Penn & Teller. These eccentric men have revolutionized a hybrid of comedy and magic, and are often found making fun of magic while doing tricks. This successful formula tests their audience, and has taken them from street performing in 1975 to working a six-day per week, multi-year deal with the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
With numerous TV appearances, including the Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Miami Vice, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Hollywood Squares, the Today Show, Saturday Night Live, The Simpsons -- and the list goes on -- Penn & Teller landed their own show called Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, which airs on Showtime and attempts to uncover the truth (or lack thereof) behind taboo subjects like talking to the dead and alternative medicine.
This outspoken team have also written three best-selling books and used their public speaking skills and understanding of magic to lecture at various universities, including Oxford and MIT.
Penn Jillette, a staunch atheist, sat down and spoke to us about politics, his beliefs, and a little bit of magic.
