Comedian and actor Owen Benjamin began his career on the MTV show “Punk'd” before co-creating and starring in the web series “That's My Daughter” for Comedy Central in 2007. He now stars in the comedy series "Gaytown," which he also co-creates, and will soon co-star with Tom Arnold in the upcoming CBS' latest online com-webisodic series, "Heckle U," which he also co-directs.

Born in Oswego, New York, to an opera singer father, Owen Benjamin attended State University of New York at Plattsburgh, NY, where he got his start in television at the student run station Plattsburgh State Television.

Next, he will star in the upcoming CBS' latest online com-webisodic series, "Heckle U," which he also co-directs with James Boyd (of "Halflife"). In the series, Benjamin will play a slacker called Chance Stevens who excels at heckling helpless opponents during men’s college basketball games. Tom Arnold will portray his bartender uncle who pushes Benjamin's character to excel as a heckler and take their theatrics to the next level.
Benjamin will soon complete his upcoming film project, "All's Faire in Love," a romantic comedy shot in primarily at the Michigan Renaissance Festival and is helmed by Scott Marshall. Benjamin will share the screen with fiancée Christina Ricci, Cedric the Entertainer, and Ann-Margret. The film, centered around a rivalry between performing groups at a Renaissance fair, is due for a 2009 release.
