Nicole Trunfio is an Australian model. The dark brown haired beauty is managed by IMG Models in New York, Iconic Management in Berlin, Germany and Viviens Model Management in Australia. She was the winner of the Australian television series “Supermodel of Australia” in 2002. Trunfio has appeared in several films, including “Two Fists, One Heart” (2008), “Somewhere” (2010) and “Paper Planes” (2014).

Childhood and Family:

Nicole Trunfio was born on March 16, 1985, in Merredin, Western Australia, Australia. She is the youngest girl in a family of four children. Her family later relocated to Australind. She attended St. Mary's Primary School in Merredin, and Australind Senior High School in Australind. Nicole has studied acting in NYC with Susan Batson, Harold Guskin and Stella Adler Studio. She is attending NIDA.

Nicole is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Gary Clark Jr. in January 2015.

Paper Planes


Nicole Trunfio started attracted the attention of public in 2002 when she became the winner of the third installment of the Australian television series “Supermodel of Australia.” She went on to finish the second place in the international version, “Supermodel of the World.”

Following her success on the talent contest, Trunfio has worked with a number of  photographers like Greg Kadel, Melvin Sokosky, Russel James, Patrick Demarchilier, Steven Klein, Richard Avedon, Peter Lindbergh, and Terry Richardson. Her face has grossed the covers of many fashion magazines such as ELLE, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, to name a few. She has modeled in campaigns for Guess, D&G, Karl Lagerfeld, Lacoste, Sonia Rykiel, Sisley, BCBG Max Azria, Anne Taylor, and Chadwick's. Among many designers she has worked with include Chanel, Versace, Christian Dior, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Missoni, Roberto Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood, Valentino, Victoria's Secret, Sweetface, and Neiman Marcus.    

Trunfio was the face of David Jones' winter 2011 launch, replacing Miranda Kerr.

In addition to modeling, Trunfio has developed a passion for acting. She made her feature film debut in the Australian action/drama “Two Fists, One Heart” (2008), where she played the role of Jessica. It was followed by appearances on “The Last International Playboy” (2008), a comedy/drama film starring  Jason Behr, Monet Mazur and Krysten Ritter, Sofia Coppola's “Somewhere” (2010) and the short film “My First Time” (2010).

In 2014, Trunfio was cast as Cindy (Dylan's Mum) in the Aussie family film “Paper Planes,” starring Sam Worthington. It will be released in Australia on January 15, 2015.         

Also in 2014,  Trunfio served as a mentor for one of the three teams on the first season of “The Face Australia.”
