 | HILARIOUS movie. Good, clean family movie that will make you sore from laughing.
Ice Cube stars as Nick Persons, the owner of a sports collectibles store. He hates kids. So when he falls for Suzanne, a single mom with TWO kids, he doesn't know that the kids hate any man who tries to impress their mom. Suzanne has Nick doing favors for her all the time. One day Suzanne has to fly to Vancouver for her job and plans that her ex will pick up the kids. Well, at the airport he calls and says he won't be able to. With a lot of hard thinking, Nick volunteers to fly with the kids.
Determined to chase Nick away from their mom, Kevin & Lindsey wreck havoc at the airport, so Nick has to drive them in his brand-new Navigator. Of course the kids damage the new vehicle as much as possible, and behave like spoiled brats...I won't say anything else except that this movie has a happy ending. |

 | "Are We There Yet" is a HILARIOUS movie! I expected this movie to be filled with swearing since Ice Cube has top billing in the
film, but really, there are only four dirty words in the movie.
The film is about a "playa" who sells bobbleheads and trading cards for kids. One day he finds a hot woman down the street. He
finds out that she is a "breeder" and she asks him to drive her
kids to Canada for New Year's. The kids wreck Nick's new car and
act atrociously. Though I would buy some soap for these kids for
all these things they say that they shouldn't even think, but it
is still comical and leaves me out of breath. Some musical talent is when they play Nelly's song "Ride Wit Me" at the beginning of the movie (edited for the kids!) and when one of the kids performs an Aretha Franklin song (Respect), and surprisingly, has some musical talent! The kids (even though they are devils) have taught me some tricks I'd love to use. But
I think that writing "HELP ME" on a notebook for a trucker to see would be the funniest (that did happen in the movie!). Full
of music, musical talent, and acting talent, this is a movie to
watch year round! |

 | This was an enjoyable DVD. Although the kids were not well behaved that was the premise of the movie. Having them behave or be angels would not have played very well.
I was pleased with Ice Cube's character and also with how he eventually bonded with Satan and Lucifer my personal nicknames for these kids.
The behind the scenes looks were also interesting. |

 | "Are We There Yet?" is a funny and exciting film! I also enjoyed the DVD too - deleted scenes, outtakes, a Flash game (Trash My Ride, Baggage Launcher), and Asian subtitles! I feel sorry for those who despise this film - they sure are missing out on such a great DVD!!!!!!!!!!! (At least it's more watchable than "Man of the House"... [the new one]) |

 | Besides being a little cheesy at times, this is an overall good and enjoyable movie. Still the only thing that convinced me to give it 4 stars was the fact that the opening song was sung by Prince.
