Australia v England, Cricket World Cup 2015: live Have England got an earthly to day and in the tournament? Any advice on staying awake through the night whuile working through the day for the next six weeks? Send rob.bagchi@telegraph.co.uk your thoughts

14th OVER Australia 83/3 (Bailey 3*, Finch 51*) Bailey takes a single off the first ball by running through point and Finch takes one off the last with a punch to midwicket. Four dot *** are the meat in Finn's sandwich. The Herberts who were very audible on the microphones earlier have disappeared ... to the bar, presumably.

13th OVER Australia 81/3 (Bailey 2*, Finch 50*) Fifty for Gregory Peck Atticus Finch with an off drive past Broad at mid-off for a single. then poor old Taylor wears one at boot hill when Bailey pulls it straight on to the short (very short) leg's ankle. Yikes. That will smart. But Tiny Taylor is a hardy cove, grinning broadly as he trots off to field the rebound. Wokes decides Bailey is vulnerable to the short ball and invites him to hook which he does. He connects OK but his momentum picks him off his feet and he avoids treading on his own stumps by an inch as he hits the deck.

12th OVER Australia 77/3 (Bailey 1*, Finch 47*) Finn starts at 135kph as he replaces Broad. Mark Taylor and Shane Warne both think Stuart Broad should have had one more over because he troubles Bailey. The second ball is short and Finch shovels it around the corner. My word these bats are good because he did time it well but off my old Duncan Fearnley that wouldn't have got off the square. This one pings into the hoardings. Decent rhythm from Finn, but devoid of his old ratpower. He ends at 133kph with one that jars Bailey's elbow as he stands up to kill it with a dead bat. The fabled heavy ball.

11th OVER Australia 72/3 (Bailey 1*, Finch 42*) Smith begins the over with a magnificent shot. Beautifully timed through mid-on off the back foot but Woakes is playing havoc with his footwork, dragging him this way and that, and he bags him. 70/3! And here comes Steve Finn.

Wicket!! Smith b Woakes 5 Straight through the gate again as Smith plays all around it. Actually there was an inside edge now having seen the replay.

10th OVER Australia 66/2 (Smith 1*, Finch 41*) Broad definitely has his pace back, averaging over 140kph and is drawing Smith across his crease. Even if it's not to be today, this rejuvenated Broad is a huge positive for England. He's cutting off the room for both batsmen and now using the bouncer judiciously. Finch protests that the secodn of two that end the over was a wide. But it wasn't....
