Coachella 2015 full lineup: Big names and bigger surprises

Coachella 2015 full lineup: Big names and bigger surprises The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival released the lineup for its 16th year on Tuesday, and it's definitely not short on talent.

The three-day event -- which kicks off the festival season on two consecutive weekends with identical lineups on April 10-12 and 17-19 -- includes Drake, Jack White and AC/DC as headliners. Here's our breakdown:

Throwbacks

Steely Dan: The dads of Coachella will be rocking out to the jazz-rock stylings of Steely Dan, easily one of the most surprising names on the lineup. The band members barely toured even in their heyday, considering themselves more of a "studio band," so it will be exciting to see such vet the festival stage.

AC/DC: Classic rock favorite AC/DC will be shaking Coachella all night long, headlining the festival's Friday shows. The lineup announcement even got the logo right (see below.)

Raekwon and Ghostface Killah: For concertgoers seeking a throwback show akin to Outkast's 2014 festival reunion, original Wu-Tang members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are teaming up. You can probably expect some solo material here, too.

Belle And Sebastian: And 90's indie favorite Belle and Sebastian are making an appearance, probably with a bunch of tracks off their upcoming album, "Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance," but they'll surely play the hits -- for those us who just want to dance to "Boy With The Arab Strap".

Crowdpleasers

Drake: You really can't go wrong with Drake. The Canadian rapper is closing out this year's festival on Sunday, April 12 & 19, with a set that will likely include plenty of tracks off "Take Care" and "Nothing Was The Same." Also, fingers crossed for "0 to 100" and "Tuesday" (let's get ILOVEMAKONNEN up there).

Jack White: White played Bonnaroo last year, with a set that combined the best of the Raconteurs, the White Stripes and his solo material. His Coachella headlining set will probably do the same, and you can expect to see his Third Man Records truck selling vinyl onsite.

Tame Impala: 2012's "Lonerism" is a great album, plus you can hear what the band's been working on since.

Interpol: The band reunited this year for "El Pintor," so fans can expect to hear tracks from that album and the hits, too.

Tyler The Creator: Tyler's a Coachella regular, performing with Odd Future in 2011 and Earl Sweatshirt in 2013. Seeing him perform and being part of that rowdy audience is a festival must, and you can certainly expect some guest appearances from his crew (and Mac Demarco, maybe?)...
