Inside Stephen Collins's Contentious Divorce: The Financial Stakes

Inside Stephen Collins's Contentious Divorce: The Financial Stakes The ugly split between actor Stephen Collins and his ex-wife, Faye Grant, is only getting uglier.

On Tuesday, audio files purporting to be Collins confessing to having had inappropriate sexual conduct with underage girls, were leaked to the media.

Now, lawyers for Collins are accusing Grant of releasing the tapes, which she had secretly recorded during a 2012 therapy session, because she wanted more money from their divorce settlement than he was willing to give.

"Over the course of my representation of Stephen in the divorce case, Faye has repeatedly threatened to give this audiotape to the media unless Stephen agreed to pay her millions of dollars more than that to which she was legally entitled," Collins's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, told TMZ Tuesday.

(Grant has denied any involvement in the leak of the tapes, saying she had merely turned them over to authorities in connection with a 2012 investigation into her husband's actions: "I had no involvement whatsoever with the release of the tape to the media.")

10 episodes of Revolution, guaranteed pay at $40,000 per episode.
Six episodes of Devious Maids for a total of $64,937.
One episode of Scandal for $7,682.

And according to Grant, those were in addition to the residuals and royalties Collins received for reruns of 7th Heaven, between January and September 2013, totaling $338,717....
