David Bowie to have dedicated radio channel on Sirius XM David Bowie is to have a new radio station dedicated to him on Sirius XM.

The US satellite radio service will be broadcast for a limited time from October 30 to November 12.

The channel will include brand new tracks from his upcoming expanded version of The Next Day, to be released on November 5.

It will also air rare live performances, demo tracks and Bowie covers by the likes of Beck, Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, the Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd are among artists who have previously had similar dedicated stations on the service.

Earlier this week, a previously unheard recording by David Bowie had its first ever play on BBC Radio 6 Music....
