She also played different roles on two episodes of NBC cop/legal drama "Law & Order." Entering her twenties, Michaels continued to make guest appearances on such TV shows as Lifetime crime/drama "The Division," the long-running police procedural drama "Dragnet," CBS FBI drama "Without a Trace" and HBO comedy/drama "Six Feet Under." In 2006, Michaels debuted in film in actor/writer/director Richard Rossi's feature length dramatic biopic about the famed evangelist of the 1920s, "Aimee Semple McPherson," in which Michaels portrayed the title role. The film was made under a special agreement with the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) for experimental films with budgets under $75,000. The Guild later honored the film with a special best in independent film exhibition as part of the union's SAG Conversations series. Following her big screen debut, Michaels retreated to the small screen again and appeared in the pilot episode of CBS legal drama starring James Woods, "Shark."
