SummaryCool Rider!
Content
This sequel to "Grease" is all about Michelle Pfieffer decked out in black singing "Cool Rider". The acting is pretty bad, and most of the songs blow, but for some reason you can't stop watching. The closing song "We'll Be Together" is a classic 70's-early-80's-youth-chorus-like production that is sure to give you goosebumps.

I would've LOVED to have seen the 'bad' Sandy (Olivia Newton John) and Stephanie (Pfieffer) do a duet.

SummaryJust a bad spinoff of the original
Content
I tried to watch a film with an open mind and not let the 'no-John-or-Olivia' mentality bother me.

The musical style songs in it (I assume that's what they were trying to do!) were very boring and they sounded all the same.

About a 1/4 of the cast are from the original, and yeah, they look even older!!

I managed to watch the whole film, because I loved seeing Michelle Pfeiffer! The English guy does the job of being cool, but only average. Nonetheless I gave it 2 stars for those 2 people in it. :)

I am the kinda reviewer that's not very critical. I try to get as much out of films, albums and the like as possible.

I thought they already explored all the feelings, emotions, romance from Rydell High in the first one!

The original cast members in this "sequel" (Not really a sequel -- Just a spinoff) made the movie merge from the original and the first! Quite a weird experience!

If you are not interested in seeing Michelle or the bikeman, don't watch it. It's as simple as that!

SummaryA Sweet romance from the past
Content
so it's not an Oscar winning movie, but I've loved this movie since it came out over 20 yrs ago! Can you believe it that's been 20 years?? I've lusted after Maxwell Caulfield ever since and Michelle Pfeiffer has remained one of my most favorite female actress. A very sweet romance for those of you who wants to experience the innocence of days gone by. I'll never tire of watching this movie.

SummaryA Personal Favorite, And A Great Transfer
Content
Ok, Ok, it may not be a popular thing to say, but GREASE 2 is one of my favorite movies. Not one of the greatest films ever made, but it is one that I can watch over and over again and not get bored with. I've seen it I'm afraid to think how many times since it was released. The music is fun, it is fast paced, and it made me a Michelle Pfeiffer fan when no one had ever heard of her.

After years of waiting, it made it to DVD and what a terrific transfer it is. Widescreen (2.35:1), the print is absolutely flawless. If you've seen it on TV, the widescreen photography really suffered because, at times, characters were talking who weren't even on the screen. Now, you see the whole image. And, the film looks as good as if it was released in theatres last week.

There are no extras which isn't surprising as Pfeiffer doesn't care for it (though she shouldn't be ashamed of it).

So, if you are a fan of the film, it is a must buy.
