Background:

Half-sister of "7th Heaven" actor David Gallagher, Michelle Casey made her film debut at age 8 in Gary Winick's indie "Sweet Nothing" (1996), starring Michael Imperioli and Mira Sorvino. She then played a recurring role in her brother's show "7th Heaven" from 1997 to 2001 and made her last film to date with the comedy "Ten Bucks," directed, co-written, and starred by her brother Gallagher.

A daughter of Vince and Elena Casey, Michele Lee Casey was born on February 13, 1988 in New York. Her siblings are actors David Gallagher (born on February 9, 1985; from her mother's previous marriage with Darren Gallagher), Kyle Casey (born on October 27, 1992), and Kelly Casey (born on May 13, 1991). Her youngest sibling, Killian Casey (born in 1997), was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3.

Career:

At the age of 8, Michelle Casey made her film debut with a small role as Annie in director Gary Winick's true story-based independent film "Sweet Nothing" (1996), starring Michael Imperioli and Mira Sorvino. In the following year, he began playing the recurring role of Katie Cunningham on The WB/CW Emmy-nominated family drama series featuring her brother David Gallagher, "7th Heaven."

In 2003, Casey acted in her final film to date, "Ten Bucks," a comedy which was directed and co-written by her brother David Gallagher. Her brother and her sister Kyle Casey also star in the film.
