Career:

"If you ask for it, it will happen - just not they way you expected it to." Meredith Zealy.

Only ten days after graduation, Meredith Zealy packed her bags and headed for Los Angeles and worked as a personal assistant for numerous families, including for Kate and Steven Spielberg. Meanwhile, she tried to break the film and television, which she got in 2001 when she was landed a small part as a woman in bar in director Steve Rash's comedy film starring Charlie Sheen, Angie Harmon, and Denise Richards, "Good Advice" (2001). She got the role after an actress failed to appear on set.

Zealy followed it up with a co-starring role in Tony Mouleart's 17-minute quirky, romantic comedy film "Bike Helmet Harry" (2002), as well as guest-starring roles in an episode of NBC crime/drama series starring Jill Hennessy, "Crossing Jordan," and NBC Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated sitcom "Just Shoot Me!"

In 2004, Zealy was cast as Maggie in Nick Cassavetes' popular romance film based on the 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks, "The Notebook," starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. That same year, she was a stunt in Nick Hurran's romantic drama comedy film, "Little Black Book," starring Brittany Murphy, Holly Hunter, Kathy Bates, and Ron Livingston.

Two years later, Zealy appeared in writer/director Christopher Folino's comedy movie "Gamers" (2006; starring Kevin Sherwood, Kevin Kirkpatrick, Scott Rinker, and Dave Hanson) and was spotted as a guest in an episode of BNC crime/dramedy series starring James Caan and Josh Duhamel, "Las Vegas."

Zealy has completed her upcoming film project, "Rounds," a drama film written and directed by Mark Atienza.
