SummaryGoofy!
Content
I have been a big fan of the original Grease movie since it first came out in the '70s and figured maybe Grease 2 would be similar, but no. In Grease, the 2 main characters (John Travolta and Olivia Newton John) could actually sing. In Grease 2, the main characters (Maxwell Caulfield and Michelle Pfeiffer) can sing, but not very good. A couple of the songs are ones that will play over and over in your mind, some of the songs would have been better off to have not been sung at all. The actress that played Sharon (one of the other Pink Ladies) has a voice that hurts to listen to. She is so out of key it is almost like watching the try outs for American Idol.
Parts of the movie are down right dumb while the rest is enjoyable/funny. The acting is ok, about as good as the first one.
It is similar to the first Grease in that it takes place at Rydell High School and there is music involved other than that they aren't similar at all. Don't get me wrong I bought this movie and I have watched it now about 5 times. Rent it first before you buy it here. Also, don't be shocked if you start hearing Reproduction and Cool Rider, 2 songs in the movie, over and over in your head.

SummaryCool Rider!
Content
This sequel to "Grease" is all about Michelle Pfieffer decked out in black singing "Cool Rider". The acting is pretty bad, and most of the songs blow, but for some reason you can't stop watching. The closing song "We'll Be Together" is a classic 70's-early-80's-youth-chorus-like production that is sure to give you goosebumps.

I would've LOVED to have seen the 'bad' Sandy (Olivia Newton John) and Stephanie (Pfieffer) do a duet.

SummaryJust a bad spinoff of the original
Content
I tried to watch a film with an open mind and not let the 'no-John-or-Olivia' mentality bother me.

The musical style songs in it (I assume that's what they were trying to do!) were very boring and they sounded all the same.

About a 1/4 of the cast are from the original, and yeah, they look even older!!

I managed to watch the whole film, because I loved seeing Michelle Pfeiffer! The English guy does the job of being cool, but only average. Nonetheless I gave it 2 stars for those 2 people in it. :)

I am the kinda reviewer that's not very critical. I try to get as much out of films, albums and the like as possible.

I thought they already explored all the feelings, emotions, romance from Rydell High in the first one!

The original cast members in this "sequel" (Not really a sequel -- Just a spinoff) made the movie merge from the original and the first! Quite a weird experience!

If you are not interested in seeing Michelle or the bikeman, don't watch it. It's as simple as that!

SummaryA Sweet romance from the past
Content
so it's not an Oscar winning movie, but I've loved this movie since it came out over 20 yrs ago! Can you believe it that's been 20 years?? I've lusted after Maxwell Caulfield ever since and Michelle Pfeiffer has remained one of my most favorite female actress. A very sweet romance for those of you who wants to experience the innocence of days gone by. I'll never tire of watching this movie.
