She would add to her resume with a role as Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme in the Tony-winning revival of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical, "Assassins" (2004).

Meanwhile, she the 5' 2" actress has guest starred on NBC drama series "Law & Order" and "Third Watch," as well as co-starred on the short-lived NBC primetime medical drama series "Inconceivable" (2005).

Childhood and Family:

Born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, on December 19, 1973, Mary Catherine Garrison, nicknamed “M.C.,” grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. After trained acting at high school at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), she went to the University of Evansville and received a bachelor of fine arts degree in theater. She continued her academic study at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), where she graduated with a master of fine arts degree in acting in 1999.

The actress who is known for her spritley and bubbly personality now lives in New York City and divides her time in Los Angeles.


Inconceivable

Career:

With a master of fine arts degree in acting under her belt, Mary Catherine Garrison went on to make her Broadway debut in a 2000 revival of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's three-act comedy "The Man Who Came to Dinner," portraying Sheridan Whiteside's (played by Nathan Lane) teenage daughter June. The play that ran for 85 performances was produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company and directed by Jerry Zaks. She also appeared in its TV movie version directed by Jay Sandrich.

Afterwards, Garrison began appearing on television. She was spotted as a guest in an episode of NBC's drama series "Law & Order" and "Third Watch."

She also acted in films, in writer/director Brad Silberling's romantic drama "Moonlight Mile" (2002; starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman, Susan Sarandon, Ellen Pompeo, and Holly Hunter), and Kirven Blount's small drama "Flowers" (2002; alongside Piper Perabo).

In October 2002, Garrison returned to stage to play Lisa in "Debbie Does Dallas," a musical by Andrew Sherman, Tom Kitt, Jonathan Callicutt and Susan L. Schwartz which was adapted from film by Erica Schmidt. The play was staged at Jane Street Theater, New York City, New York.

Garrison subsequently went back on screen again and could be seen in the made-for-television movie "The Partners" (2003), an action drama in which she co-starred with Liz Vassey, and in Clare Kilner's "How to Deal" (2003), a film adaptation of Sarah Dessen's novels "That Summer" and "Someone Like You." In the latter movie, she shared the screen with Mandy Moore, Allison Janney, and Trent Ford.

In 2004, Garrison appeared as Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, the former member of Charles Manson's "Family", convicted of attempting to assassinate U.S. President Gerald Ford back in 1975, in the Tony-winning Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical "Assassins."

In the following year, she co-starred as Marissa Jaffee, alongside Ming-Na, Angie Harmon, and Jonathan Cake, on NBC primetime medical drama series "Inconceivable" (2005), Unfortunately, only two episodes aired before the series was canceled.

Garrison recently played Izzy in the "Rabbit Hole" (2006) play by David Lindsay-Abaire staged at Biltmore Theatre, New York City, New York.
