Childhood and Family:
Marshall Scot Allman was born on April 5, 1984, in Austin, Texas,
to James Martin Allman, Jr. and Idanell. He became interested in
soccer and visual art at age 5, and carried out the passions in high
school. He picked up awards in competitions sponsored by the state of
Texas for his paintings and drawings in his junior and senior year of
high school, and successfully led his high school soccer team to win
the Texas state championship. His love in soccer ignited the talented
teen to pursue a professional career, but after graduating from
Austin High School in 2002, he chose to study acting in Los Angeles.
He was trained as an actor at the Playhouse West.
Marshall, known by old friends as T.J., married actress Jamie
Anne Allman on June 17, 2006 in his hometown Austin, Texas.
Devil's Night
Career:
An excellent soccer player and award-winning artist, Marshall
Allman began his acting career at age 17, when he produced and
appeared in “History of the Devil,” a premier production
of the Fear Theatre Company in Austin, Texas. After high school, the
Texan native headed to Los Angeles to further pursue his career.
Within a year of his arrival in Hollywood, Allman landed guest
spots in a series of shows like “Without a Trace,”
“Threat Matrix,” “Boston Public” and “Malcolm
in the Middle” (all 2003). The same year, he also appeared in
the pilot of “Married to the Kellys,” a short-lived
comedy aired on Fox from 1993 to 1994. He played the young
incarnation of Breckin Meyer's Tom.
After making a guest appearance in a 1994 episode of “The
Practice,” playing Todd Beck, Allman made the jump to the big
screen with a bit part in the horror/thriller “Shallow Ground”

penned by Sheldon Wilson. He got a bigger part later that same year

The following year saw Allman star with Haylie Duff in the
coming-of-age comedy/drama “Dishdogz,” playing Kevin,

“Prison Break.” Debuted in August 2005, the drama
received a 2006 People's Choice Award for Favorite New Television
Drama and was nominated for a Golden Globe award in the category of
Best Television Series – Drama. It also earned a Teen Choice
