Background: Czechoslovakian born, Los Angeles, CA based model and actress Marketa Janska is illustrious for becoming “Playboy Playmate of the Month” for July 2003. She also was the October, 2005 calendar girl for the “Playmates at Play” swimsuit calendar. Janska has made guest appearances on episodes of the television series “CSI: Miami” (2003), “Swingtown” (2008) and “90210” (2010) as well as has a bit part in the film “Couples Retreat” (2009). Janska also shows a talent in singing. She can play the guitar, flute and piano. Most Girl Childhood and Family: Marketa Janska was born on May 24, 1981, in Most, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic). She was raised in a small village outside of Prague and has two younger brothers. She started taking singing lessons at age 6. 90210 Career: Marketa Janska initiated modeling when she was a teenager. She has appeared in many European magazines, swimsuit calendars and television commercials. In 2001, she moved to Western Europe before scoring a modeling contract in Los Angeles, California and settling there. In 2003, Janska gained boost when she was chosen to be “Playboy” magazine's Playmate of the Month for the July edition. She has been featured in a couple of “Playboy” videos and posed for a few newsstand special editions. She would land another uncredited part in the August 15, 2008 episode “Get Down Tonight” of the drama series “Swingtown,” starring Molly Parker and Jack Davenport. In 2009, Janska was featured as Eden East Girl in “Couples Retreat,” a comedy film starring Vince Vaughn, Malin Akerman and Jon Favreau and directed by Peter Billingsley.
