 | But it was NEVER released in the theatres... I saw pretty interesting trailers for this movie. Got me all curious only to find out it's going straight to DVD... IN SEPTEMBER (4 months away from this post). Dont you hate that?
Guess I'll look forward to the DVD. |

 | You have got to see this movie!!!!! Through the whole movie I thought I had it figured out but then something would pop up and my suspect was gone. The cool thing is that it gives you time to try to find a new suspect(just so you know, unless your an FBI profiler I doubt you will ever figure it out,so just sit back and enjoy the ride). It's good to see Val Kilmer And Christian Slater back in a movie. LL Definitly does his best job yet. Over all I would give this movie 17 stars if i could but they won't let me. Trust me its a great movie. You won't be disappointed! |

 | I'm sorry, but this isn't a good movie. I can't think of anything of merit in the film.
One of the biggest criticisms of Agatha Christie novels were that they were formulaic and generally bog standard from one book to the next. That's what's happened here. They've slightly modified a 50 year old Agatha Christie novel (... and then there were none) and tried to pass it off as an intelligent. It isn't.
Don't go and see the film. I'd recommend reading the book before seeing this film. |

 | Seven serial killer profiler students and one observer are taken to an island by their teacher, Jake Harris (Kilmer). They are given a weekend to solve a fake case, and this will serve as their final exam. They quickly find out that there is a killer amongst them when people start getting killed one by one. As the suspicion shifts from person to person, the team must use their skills to find the killer before it is too late.
"Mindhunters" is a good movie with no outstanding performances. The story is interesting, but when everything is revealed, it seems impossible that the killer could have planned all the killings. This, of course, is a big plot hole. If you can get over this, and not take the movie too seriously, "Mindhunters" is a mostly entertaining, although forgettable experience. |
