Leslie Stefanson is an American actress, model and artist. She is known for playing Capt. Elisabeth Campbell in the film “The General's Daughter” (1999) and Kelly in “Unbreakable” (2000). She had a regular role on the ABC short lived series “MDs” (2002).

Stefanson has been in relationship with actor James Spader since 2002. They have one child together.

Childhood and Family:

Leslie Stefanson was born on May 10, 1971, in Fargo, North Dakota, as Leslie Ann Stefanson, and grew up in Moorhead, Minnesota. She received a degree in English Literature from Barnard College in 1993.

On August 31, 2008, Leslie welcomed her first child, a son, with her fiance, actor James Spader.



Leslie Stefanson had her first feature film acting experience in the 1994 action/comedy “The Cowboy Way,” starring Woody Harrelson, Kiefer Sutherland and Dylan McDermott, by having a notable small spot as girl at party. She played Sara Myers in the Barbra Streisand acclaimed film “The Mirror Has Two Faces” (1996), had a supporting role as Michelle Rafferty in the comedy film “An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn” (1997, starring Ryan O'Neal, Coolio and Chuck D.) and  co-starred in the comedy “Flubber” (1997) with Robin Williams, Marcia Gay Harden and Christopher McDonald. She went on to appear in “As Good as It Gets” (1997), “Fool's Paradise” (1997), “Break Up” (1998), the box office hit “The General's Daughter” (1999, playing Captain Elisabeth Campbell), “Delivered” (1999) and “Beautiful” (2000). She played the role of Kelly in “Unbreakable” (2000), a superhero drama film written, produced, and directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.

In 2002, Stefanson played the regular role of a hospital administrator named Shelly Pangborn on the television medical drama “MDs.” The series aired on ABC for one season from September 25 to December 11, 2002. The same year, she could also be seen in the films “Desert Saints” and “The Stickup.”

In 2003, Stefanson played the role of Irene Kravitz in “The Hunted,” a crime movie starring Tommy Lee Jones, Benicio Del Toro and Connie Nielsen. She appeared with boyfriend James Spader in the science fiction movie “Alien Hunter” (2003).

Currently, Stefanson makes bronze and terracotta sculptures in Los Angeles and New York City.
