Career:

Leah Pipes began appearing in commercials at a young age. She made her television acting debut in a 2001 episode of the hit TV series “Angel.” Two years later, she received a role on the ABC family series “Lost at Home,” which was about a workaholic father attempting to reconnect with his wife and three kids. Pipes played one of the kids in the show. Also starring in the sitcom were Mitch Rouse, Connie Britton, Gregory Hines, Stark Sands, and Gavin Fink.

Next, Pipes portrayed Jessie in the TV series “Clubhouse” (2004) and made an appearance in an episode of “Drake & Josh” (also 2004). The year also saw the young actress make her television movie debut in Disney's “Pixel Perfect,” where she played Samantha. Pipes then portrayed Stacey in the made-for-TV film “Odd Girl Out” (2005), with Alexa Vega and Lisa Vidal, and appeared in episodes of “Malcolm in the Middle” and “Fertile Ground” (both 2005).

In 2006, Pipes starred as Melanie in Harry Basil's “Fingerprints,” which won the Best Feature Award at the 2006 New York City Horror Film Festival. She then portrayed teen soccer prodigy Sara Davis in the direct-to-video film “Her Best Move” (2007), opposite Scott Patterson, Lisa Darr, Lalaine, Daryl Sabara and Fay Masterson. She added to her TV credits guest appearances in “Bones” (2006), “Shark” (2006) and “Crossing Jordan” (2007).

However, Pipes did not gain any real notice until she won the role of Katie Clarke in the CW drama series “Life Is Wild,” based on the popular British drama “Wild at Heart.” Debuting in October 2007, the show was canceled in February 2008 because of modest ratings. In the series, Pipes costarred with D. W. Moffett, Stephanie Niznik, Andrew St. John, Calvin Goldspink and Atandwa Kani.

2008 found Pipes playing Kylie in a “Ghost Whisperer” episode called “Horror Show.” She also portrayed Jody in two episodes of the Fox science fiction series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” which starred Lena Headey.

Moviegoers recently saw Pipes in the horror movie “Sorority Row,” a remake of the 1983 film “The House on Sorority Row.” Directed by Stewart Hendler, Pipes appeared as Jessica, opposite Briana Evigan as Cassidy, Rumer Willis as Ellie, Jamie Chung as Claire, Margo Harshman as Chugs, Caroline D'Amore as Maggie and Audrina Patridge as Megan. “The House on Sorority Row” was released in October 2009.
