Kirsten Can Act
Background:
In the hit-movie, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994),
Louis (Brad Pitt), turns a little girl named Claudia (Kirsten Dunst) into a
vampire which now has the capability to live through centuries.
Kirsten Dunst has that capability. The young actress' talent
could make her a legend.

In Spider-Man 2 (2004), you find Peter Parker (also Spider-Man,
played by Tobey McGuire) struggling with his destiny while striving to capture
the heart of the girl of his dreams, Mary Jane Watson (played by Kirsten Dunst),
and another successful super-hero movie is launched.
Again, so is Kirsten's career.
She may not be the tallest, or the oldest, or even the most
beautiful actress out there, but she has one major component that many actors
don't have... Kirsten can act.
And that, along with the continuing selection of good roles,
just may boost this young girl to legend status.

Childhood and Family:
Kirsten Caroline Dunst was born on April 30, 1982 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey,
to parents Klaus and Inez. She has a younger brother named Christian Dunst. She
graduated High School in 2000 after attending the Notre Dame High School in Los
Angeles, California. Her parents where seperated with Kirsten living with her
mother and brother in California while her father lived in New Jersey.
"I'd like to grow up and be beautiful. I know it doesn't matter,
but it doesn't hurt."
Kirsten's is nicknamed Kiki.
Vampires to Super-Heroes
Career:
Kirsten Dunst career starts at just 3 years of age. Working in commercials,
little Kirsten had performed in over 70 before landing her first role (a small
one) in Woody Allen's film New York Stories (1989). A few other tidbit roles
followed before Kirsten dazzled and amazed critics and audiences with her
portrayal of Claudia in the hit movie Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire
Chronicles (1994), also starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Her role earned
several nominations and awards, including a Golden Globe nomination, a MTV Award
for Best Breakthrough Performance, and a Saturn award for Best Young Actress.
Her career propelled forward with other noteworthy performances such as Younger
Amy March in Little Women (1994), Judy Shepherd in Jumanji (1995), Sara Weaver
in TV's The Siege at Ruby Ridge (1996), Tina Spangler in TV's Fifteen and
Pregnant (1998), and Christy Fimple in Small Soldiers (1998). In 1999 her role
as Lux Lisbon in Sofia Coppola's Independent film, The Virgin Suicides, won high
reviews, and her energetic role as Torrance Shipman in Bring It On (2000) showed
a more comedic acting side.
Kirsten pocketed more roles until she found herself the love
interest of Spider-Man in the highly successful Spider-Man (2002). In Spider-Man
2 (2004), we find Kirsten back as character Mary Jane Watson in the
well-received sequel.
Kirsten will remain just as busy, with Elizabethtown due out in
(2005), Marie-Antoinette (2006), and the highly anticipated Spider-Man 3 being
announced with a hopeful release date in the summer of 2007.

this film if I didn't think it would appeal to girls too. This movie has a good
heart and a good romance." (in reference to the film Spider-Man)
