Kelly Chemane Packard was born on January 29, 1975. A native of Glendale, California, she was raised in Arizona, before relocating to Canyon Country, California. She began acting in TV commercials as a child and made a move to TV series in her early teens. When she was 13, Kelly was crowned the title of Miss California Pre-Teen.
In 1997, Kelly was married to Darrin Privett. She gave birth to an 8 pounds, 13 ounces baby girl named Aubrey Lin Privett on April 6, 2004, in New York.
The 1988 Miss California Pre-Teen, Kelly Packard stepped into the entertainment business as a little girl with appearances in television commercials. After being the winner of the beauty competition, she progressed to series TV by taking on guest roles in shows like “The Wonder Years” (1990), “Blossom” (1992) and “Step by Step” (1993). Between works on TV, she made her first big-screen outing with the bit part of Halloween Kid #2 in the family film And You Thought Your Parents Were Weird (1991), starring Marcia Strassman and Joshua John Miller.
However, it was not until 1992 when Packard was recruited as a regular in the popular NBC teen comedy series “California Dreams” (1992-97) that she got her major breakthrough. During her five seasons as Tiffani Smith, the surfer babe bass-guitarist, Pickard became a favorite among the intended audiences. Packard’s next breakthrough arrived when she joined the cast of the long-running series “Baywatch.” From 1997 until 1999, she portrayed the fashion-designing lifeguard April Giminski. The new millennium saw the actress play supporting role Jeri in the independent romantic comedy Get Your Stuff (2000), which starred Blayn Barbosa, Jason Boegh and David Faustino. Two years later, she teamed up with Greg Kinnear, Willem Dafoe, Rita Wilson and Maria Bello for the biopic film Auto Focus, directed by Paul Schrader. In 2003, Packard landed a hosting gig in the Denise-Cramsey-created reality series “House Wars” and, in 2005, she appeared as a guest co-host in the 2000 game show “Street Smarts.”
