Kacey Barnfield was born Kacey Louisa Barnfield on January 14, 1988, in Hackney, London, England. Her father, Malcolm, is a partner at Enfield estate agency Barnfield's and her mother, Karen, is a former glamour model. Her parents divorced in 2010. Kacey has a sister named Tyla and a brother named Kye. She is a second cousin of the actress Victoria Shalet.

Career:

Kacey Barnfield began her acting career in 1997 when she was only 9 by working in stage plays and advertisements. She won her first regular role in “Grange Hill,” where she played bully Maddie Gilks, girlfriend to Baz Wainwright (played by Thomas Hudson). She was on the show from 2001 to 2005. While working in “Grange Hill,” Barnfield also appeared in the TV miniseries “Dreamteam” (2003) as Leanne, and played the recurring role of Chloe Fox on “The Bill” (3 episodes; 2004).    

In 2007, Barnfield co-starred with  Jodi Albert and Jack Ryder in the British teen comedy movie “Popcorn,” which was written and directed by Darren Fisher. She returned to “The Bill” in a 2007 episode called “Uncut Killer” to play Kelly Burgess and landed a two episodic role as Claudie Waters in “Casualty” that same year. In the following year, she became the face of Clean & Clear, for which she was featured in adverts for the skincare brand, and starred in the Road Safety commercial Mess. She also was Galaxy chocolate's 'Miss Kiss' to publicize their Christmas Mistletoe Kisses chocolates.      

In 2009 and 2010, Barnfield appeared as Niel's sister, Katie Sutherland, in the E4 sitcom “The Inbetweeners” in the series 2 episode “ A Night Out in London” and series 3's “Will's Dilemma.” She played the role of Ellie in the made for TV film “Lake Placid 3” (2010), which was produced by Syfy, and was cast as Crystal Waters, a junior champ in swimming in her high school days who came to Los Angeles to work as an actress, in the blockbuster movie “Resident Evil: Afterlife” (2010), opposite Milla Jovovich, Wentworth Miller and Ali Larter. 2011 saw her star on the TV films “Roadkill” (with  Oliver James, Diarmuid Noyes and Stephen Rea) and “Jabberwock” (with Tahmoh Penikett and Raffaello Degruttola) and also in the short film “Flim: The Making of...”, which she also co-wrote.  

In 2013, Barnfield appeared with Jemma Dallender on the rape and revenge horror sequel “I Spit on Your Grave 2,” starred opposite Mykel Shannon Jenkins and Caite Upton in the mystery/thriller movie “Neron,” played Charlie in the comedy/drama film “Seeking Dolly Parton,” which was written and directed by Michael Worth (also starred in the film), and was cast opposite Scott Adkins and Joey Ansah in the action/drama film “Green Street 3: Never Back Down.” She also appeared in an episode of “Massholes” named “The Gentleman's Conga” (2013).

Recently, in 2014, Barnfield played the role of Maresi De la mer on the comedy film “Flim: The Movie,” which was written and directed by Raffaello Degruttola.

Barnfield will star as Ashley in Michael Worth's romance film, “Enchanting the Mortals” (2014), and play Amanda in the UK horror film “World War Dead: Rise of the Fallen” (2015), opposite Wendy Glenn and Philip Barantini. She is also set to play roles on the upcoming films “Bayou Tales” (2014, with Lauren Schneider and Lin Shaye) and “Curiosity Kills” (2015, opposite Amrita Acharia and Sofya Skya) and is rumored to play Janet in Drew Cullingham's comedy, “Skinny Buddha” (2014).
