I hope that sums it up....man did I hate this movie...and boy do I regret wasting 3 hours of my life watching it!!! Booooring!! And so shallow....just because she (Anna Scott) is a movie star, Hugh Grant's character puts up with all sorts of nasty behavior...I bet he wouldn't have if she was just your average girl next door. And what ever happens to the one decent woman that his friends set him up with, and he seems interested in pursuing?!! They just blew that part off. Never mind the fact that Anna Scott is a cheating two-timer. But that's okay, all is forgiven if you're rich and famous! Puuuleeez! I would have told her to go jump off a bridge! I was so mad w/ the ending...but that is life, and life certainly isn't always fair.

SummaryA good buy for a fan
Content
If you liked this movie as much as I did, then this collector's edition is well worth purchasing. It has some hilarious behind-the-scenes footage with Hugh Grant - my only criticism would be that I would have liked to see Julia Roberts in this footage as well as some of the other key actors (especially Rhys Ifans who I think is one of the funniest people on earth!).

It's a great film to watch on a day when you feel blah and need comfort, and I am glad I purchased it.

SummaryUnfabricated Chick Flick
Content
I do agree with the reviews that say this is boring. It is boring in a way, but its value should come from the fact that its not totally fabricated and changed for the viewers' sake, but was rather bold of it to stand its ground and be the way it is.

Many of the so called non-boring more exciting films are really fabricated and exaggerated with extras that really bring it far away from what we should know as reality. This film, to me, was more reflecting over the boundaries of reality. Many other films add a bunch of stuff in order to draw viewers into it and give them settings and plots of occurences that flies far from what real life is about, something that doesn't happen as well in real life.

There are people that like fictional and then there are those that like non-fiction. It depends on how you view it, either you like a movie that has a bunch of totally exaggerated and made up stuff or the real life deal as this movie is.

Still, however, I thought this movie was a little boring, but interesting still to watch. As always, many things that can be done to make it more interesting, but I guess it is the way it is.

Nice day to all. This movie will either make you put on your night cap and bring out your little teddy bear or make you say "hmm..."

I really like hugh grant. I'm not julia's biggest fan, but still i thought this might be one of the most boring and lame yet critically acclaimed movie i've ever seen, right up there with a beautiful mind. I thought movies were supposed to be entertaining, isn't that why they were invented, not to bore us into suicide. I am all for movies that inspire, teach, mean something, i love a good story. This movie is an astroid-sized crator in the smooth paved road that is the career of hugh grant as well as the start of gravel highway for julia that hasn't ended.
