A graduate of the two-year Meisner program, Jordan Roberts began her acting career with a supporting role alongside Judy Tenuta in the gay-themed comedy film "Butch Camp" (1996). She had her big break in 1999 when she was cast as Grace on NBC's soap opera "Passions," which she played until 2006.

Meanwhile, the 5' 6" actress could be seen in the action adventure film "Star of Jaipur" (1998; starring George Lazenby and Linda Gray), the short comedy "Breaking Up Really Sucks" (2001; with Alexandra Paul and Karri Bowman) and the made-for-television movie "Officer Down" (2005; opposite Sherilyn Fenn and Casper Van Dien). She also made guest appearances in "Just Shoot Me!" and "That '70s Show."

Besides acting, Roberts also busy working on her one-woman-show. She has done stand-up comedy all over Los Angeles, Detroit and Chicago.

Jordan Roberts graduated from the two-year Meisner program. She also honed her comedic talent under the supervision of Michael and Helaine Lembeck, as well as The Groundlings and The Second City.


Officer Down

Career:

In 1996, Jordan Roberts began her acting career with a co-starring role as a hairdresser named Janet who falls in love with two men (played by Jason Teresi and Paul Denniston) whom end up dumping her for each other, in writer/director Alessandro De Gaetano's gay-themed comedy film, "Butch Camp." The film, which also stars Judy Tenuta, was released on Region 1 DVD on October 30, 2001 and re-released May 14, 2002.

In the following year, Roberts had a guest spot as a Calvin Klein executive in two 1997 episodes of NBC's sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" She subsequently returned to the wide screen in writer/director Chris McIntyre's action adventure with very complex story line, "Star of Jaipur" (1998), playing a detective named Jill Bennett, alongside former James Bond 007 George Lazenby and "Dallas" star Linda Gray.

Roberts landed her first big break in 1999 when she was cast as Grace on NBC's soap opera "Passions." She stayed in the show until 2006.

Meanwhile, Roberts played a small role as a party guest in Jennifer McGlone's 10-minute comedy film which chronicles a lesbian relationship, "Breaking Up Really Sucks" (2001), starring Alexandra Paul and Karri Bowman. She also had an uncredited appearance in a November 2003 episode of FOX's sitcom "That '70s Show."

After her contract with "Passions" ended, Roberts went to co-starred with Sherilyn Fenn and Casper Van Dien in Christopher Miller's crime/thriller film, "Officer Down" (2005), playing a criminal lawyer who turned "criminal."

When she isn't busy filming, Roberts spends most of her time working on her one-woman-show, doing stand-up comedy all over Los Angeles, Detroit and Chicago, as well as studying her craft. In 2003, she was awarded Best Female Voice Impressionism for her 100+ Celebrity Voice Imitations at the 12th Annual Reel Awards, which took place at The Henry Fonda Theatre. She can be seen LIVE at 8pm the last three Sundays of every month, performing her unique comedy at The Complex Theatre in Hollywood.

She also has acted on stage, having headlined over 50 plays, from Shakespeare to Sam Shepard.

As the current host of Nitestar Productions' "Industry Spotlight," she has interviewed a string of notable artists, including: Ernest Borgnine, Nick Nolte, Sally Kirkland, William Baldwin, Rikki Lake, Judy Tenuta, Jonathan Silverman, Jennifer Finnegan, Deborah Gibson and Leslie Anne Warren.
