SummaryJust plain hideously bad
Content
I only wish the ratings went below 1 star because this crap fest doesn't even deserve that. I probably shouldn't even be acknowledging the existence of this film by giving it a rating.

SummaryPLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE was better.
Content
The movie considered to be the worst movie ever is Ed Wood's PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. That movie was more entertaining than this. This takes a funny TV show and makes it look awful. I agree with what the person said about feeding the hungry children in one of the other reviews.

SummaryBoo! Boo!
Content
Dear God! When it comes to really bad movies based on classic TV shows, I never thought anything could top the horrific lameness of "McHale's Navy" and "Wild Wild West". But came the day I caught this playing on cable, and found myself almost having epileptic seizures over how awful and utterly unfunny it was. `Course, it didn't help that I never really cared for the TV show it was based on, but that's neither here nor there. Making things worse was the casting, which included Buster Poindexter as Gunther "Ooh! Ooh!" Toody, and Rosie O'Donnell as Mrs. Toody. But worst of all is Fran Drescher and her ultra-annoying yenta voice that makes deafness seem like a blessing!

As for the bits o' screen time with original "Car 54" and eventual "Munsters" cast mates Fred Gwynne and Grandpa Al Lewis: I guess these two were pretty hard-up for funds to agree to do this dreck! Perhaps there wasn't enough demand for their presence at those Comic-Book-&-Cult-TV cons at the time? Let's see... have a small part in a super-lame flick, or hang out with a buncha pock-faced, socially-inept fanboy get-a-lifers who ask you really dumb questions about the show you were on... a lame flick, or get-a-lifers... whew, tough choice. It all boils down to what'cha consider the lesser of two evils...
