Nothing Like This

Jessica Lowndes began her career on television in 2005 when she was cast as Andrea Kondracke (Age 15) on the CBS TV film “Saving Milly,” which was adapted from Morton Kondracke's nonfiction book of the same name. Later that same year, she made a guest appearance in “Masters of Horror.” She went on to have a recurring role in “Alice, I Think” (2006), a guest starring role in “Kyle XY” (2006) and  a supporting role in the Lifetime film “To Have and to Hold” (2006).

In 2008, Lowndes played the recurring role of Mandi in the ABC Family comedy/drama series “Greek,” starring Clark Duke, Tiffany Dupont, Scott Michael Foster, Spencer Grammer and Paul James. The same year, she appeared as Cassie Booth in an unsold FX pilot titled “Pretty/Handsome” and starred opposite Michael Bowen in the horror film “Autopsy,” which premiered on August 24, 2008 in the United Kingdom at the London FrightFest Film Festival and was picked as one of After Dark Horrorfest's “Eight Films to Die For.” She also appeared in the supernatural horror film “The Haunting of Molly Hartley” and in an episode of “Chinese Guys” (both 2008).

However, Lowndes did not experience a big break until she was cast as Adrianna Tate-Duncan in the teen drama series “90210,” a spin-off of the '90 popular series “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Making her debut appearance on September 2, 2008, Adrianna was originally only scripted as a guest spot in the series' pilot, but was added to the main cast in the fourteenth episode of the first season, replacing Jessica Walter. The show aired on The CW from September 2, 2008 to May 13, 2013. For her work on the series, Lowndes was nominated for a Prism Award in 2009 in the category of Performance in a Drama Multi-Episode Storyline.

Not only acting, Lowndes also performed a number of songs on “90210” episodes. During its season 4, her single “Fool” was featured and sang by her character in the episode “Benefit of the Doubt.” Her other singles featured on the show are “I Don't,” “Want You Anymore,” “Teardrops Fall,” “Snake Charmer” and “The Last Time.”

In 2010, Lowndes starred in the Canadian film “Altitude,” alongside Mike Dopud and Julianna Guill. The same year, she was featured in the single “Falling in Love” by British hip hop artist Ironik. The single reached No. 40 on the UK Singles Chart on October 31, 2010. She then teamed up with music producers James Rendon and Kayden Boche to record a featuring version of French American Idol finalist Jérémy Amelin's single “Undone,” which was released worldwide on May 23, 2011.     Lowndes launched her debut EP “Nothing Like This” on January 25, 2012. It contains fours singles: “Nothing Like This,” “I Wish I Was Gay,” “Stamp of Love” and “Go Back.” Still in 2012, she appeared in the film “The Devil's Carnival,” the TV film “A Mother's Nightmare” and the short “Garden of Eden.”

In 2013, Lowndes released a second EP, “TBT” (Throwback Thursday), featuring singles “Fly Away,” “Goodbye,” “Break” and “Never Lonely.” It was followed by a new single called “Silicone in Stereo” in 2014.

Lowndes continued acting with roles on the films “The Prince” (2014), “Eden” (2014), “Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant” (2015) as well as episodes of the TV series “Young & Hungry” (2014), “Hawaii Five-0” (2015), “Motive” (2015) and the TV film “A Deadly Adoption” (2015).

Lowndes will star as Julia in the upcoming horror/thriller film “Abattoir,” which is scheduled to be released in September 2015. She also is set to star in the drama film “Becoming,” directed and written by Omar Naim.
