Jesse Dylan previously directed two other hit comedies for Universal, the stoner farce How High, with rappers Redman and Method Man; and American Wedding, the third installment of the hugely popular American Pie franchise.

Dylan began his directing career helming music videos for such esteemed, groundbreaking artists as Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Nick Cave, Lenny Kravitz and Henry Rollins.

His music video successes also brought Dylan opportunities in the TV commercial world where he directed spots for Coke, Pepsi, Budweiser and Reebok, among others.
