In the world of 80's pop music no girl group made as much of an impact as The Go-Go's. Jane Wiedlin was a founding member of that group and also the first one to leave the band in 1984, striking out on a solo career which not only included music but acting. While The Go-Go's have reunited several times over the years and have even recorded a new album called God Bless the Go-Go's in 2001, Jane remains busy in other areas as well. Musically she has recorded several solo albums, including Tangled, Fur, Kissproof World and The Very Best of Jane Wiedlin.

She also continued to act, appearing in television episodes of The Drew Carey Show and Beat the Geeks. She's done a fair amount of voice over work as well on animated series such as The Wild Thornberry's, King of the Hill and Duck Dodgers.

Upcoming projects include a role in the 2004 movie Firecracker.
