British model and actress Helen Flanagan is best associated with her
role as Rosie Webster on the TV soap opera “Coronation
Street”, which she played for 12 years from 2000 to 2012. She is
scheduled to reprise her role in 2014.
On September 10, 2013, Flanagan appeared topless as a Page 3 girl in “The Sun”.

Daughter of Paul Flanagan and Julia Flanagan, Helen Flanagan was born
Helen Joyce Gabriel Flanagan on August 7, 1990, in Bury, Greater
Manchester, England. She began taking drama lessons at Carol Godbys
Theatre Workshop in Bury when she was five. She later attended
Westholme School in Blackburn, Lancashire. Her nickname is Helz.
The Other Side of Love
Helen Flanagan made her auspicious television debut at age 10 when she
landed the role of Rosie Webster, the daughter of long-running couple
Kevin and Sally Webster (played by Michael Le Vell and Sally Dynevor,
respectively) on the British popular soap opera “Coronation
Street”. Making her first appearance on January 23, 2000, she
would keep up the role for the next 12 years until she departed the
show on February 10, 2012 in order to pursue other opportunities. In
2006, Flanagan was nominated for a British Soap Award
in the category of Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor
or Actress for her performance in the show. In the following year, she
received a nomination for Villain of the Year in the same award.
After leaving “Coronation Street,” Flanagan took part in
the twelfth series of “I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of
Here!”, which ran from November 11, 2012 to December 1, 2012. She
finished seventh place under the eventually winner,
“EastEnders” actress Charlie Brooks, Ashley Roberts, David
Haye, Eric Bristow, Hugo Taylor and Rosemary Shrager.
Flanagan has made self appearances in many television shows, including
“Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown” (2006),

Flanagan will make her feature film debut as Angie in the British drama
“The Other Side of Love” (2014), opposite Michael Hurst and
Stephen Marcus. She also will play Rachel Roberts in the upcoming
comedy/romance “Fizzy Days” (2014), opposite Stephen Graham
and James Dreyfus.
