SummaryGlass broken too late
Content
As a true story it's a good movie. They could have went deeper in Glass's mind to let us know why he really decided to make up stories. What he went through personally. Haden Christensen's acting is very good, very convincing. Worth seeing.

SummaryA very good movie
Content
This movie surprised me by being quite good. I agree with the reveiewer below when he says "Hayden Christensen can act," as this movie testifies to. I hope to see more of him in future films. I also highly recommend "Life as a House" starring Hayden and Kevin kline--Hayden's performance in "Glass" is excellent, he'll blow you out of the water in "House."

SummarySURPRISE! Christensen CAN act!
Content
This movie isn't made to be and will probably never be popular. The acting, script and directing is too real. Every actor(with the possible exception of Melanie Lynskey and Steve Zahn) give A+ performances, creating some of the most beliveable and real characters I've seen in a film. Peter Sarsgaard can only be described as superb - I hope to see much more from this actor! Hayden Christensen, to my surprise, more than held his own amidst such fine acting. I don't know what made the difference between Star Wars and this (though I have an idea - LUCAS SCRIPT!), but his portrayal of a needy, manipulative, and ultimately self-focused journalist set him, in my mind, up with the Matt Damon/Joaquin Phoenix/Elijah Wood/etc acting league. The story itself is most intriguing because its true. What and how Glass did what he did is sickeningly clever. Definitely a mature film, one for those who like real life drama and excellent but ever so subtle acting. Billy Ray's GLASS is worth your time!

SummaryShattered Glass

I have to admit I only knew very little of the Stephen Glass story before purchasing this movie but it does a very good job of covering the material, without being boring and the performances by the cast, especially Peter Sarsgaard, make for a very entertaining and informative movie.
