Contact Harry Jr Connick

Harry Connick Junior was born in New Orleans on September 11, 1967. He studied with James Booker and Ellis Marsalis and started his professional career quite early. At the age of 13 , he performed in the New Orleans French Quarter clubs. At the age of 18, he recorded his first album in New York, and at 23, he was succesful with the original music in the famous movie "When Harry met Sally". His career was only beginning.

When interviewed in Paris, Harry Connick Junior explained that he really wanted to come back to jazz after having recorded two funk albums... and that, although he is very open minded about music and likes to do different things, he will never try and play pop or rock music, as he likes playing the music he grew up with: jazz, blues, funk...

On his new album, "Songs I Heard", Harry Connick Junior and his big band orchestra are incredible. My favorite song on that album, is "I've got a golden ticket." He is currently touring with his big band orchestra for obvious economic reasons... He dedicated his last album, "Come by Me" solely to his mother, Anita.
